Just heard that he has cancelled.
It will be interesting to hear more as the story unravels.
All because he thinks Obama got it wrong when he sold the embassy building in Grosvenor Square and he doesn't like the new building.
As my grandad would have said "Aye, right!"

My son's birthday today as well. What a good day to have a birthday.

Trump to King.

Martin Luther King day today.

What a contrast to Trumps remark.

Trumps intention of making white immigrants matter and blocking black or Asian, are offensive beyond belief.

He certainly polarises opinion.

sorry, that was an after-thought.

Jalima1108 Sat 13-Jan-18 19:49:03

I don't think they will.

As Trump's behaviour gets more and more outrageous I wonder how appalling it would have to be to make his fanatical supporters think that perhaps, just perhaps, they might have made a mistake in supporting him.

I remember his claim during the election campaign "I could stand in the middle of New York and shoot someone and they'd still vote for me"

Sadly I think this was one of the few true statements he has ever made.

whitewave Sat 13-Jan-18 17:34:56

Why was a known fraudster , racist and liar sought about his opinion over Trumps no show by the BBC?

Strange what you can find out. Apparently America's watershed is between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. People have been complaining about trump's words being repeated during that time.

Perhaps it's time they chose a new president.

If trump can't stop being racist, he needs to go.

In fact, more people are moving from the U.S. to Norway than the other way around. In 2016, 895 people emigrated from the U.S. to Norway, while only 502 went the other way, according to Statistics Norway.

Imagine the campaigning for an office in the judiciary. "Vote for me and all those poor people begging in your streets will be thrown in jail," or, "Vote for me and never have to worry about being charged with complaints about harassing your pretty employees."

GracesGranMK2 Sat 13-Jan-18 12:32:50

I find the idea of an elected judiciary quite worrying Wally. Why would a country want to go in that direction?

Trump's just annoyed that the Duke of Westminster sold the site that the present embassy is on to the Qataris for £500 million. He wasn't given an option on it.

It's hardly surprising that very few Norwegians want to emigrate to the US. Why would you want to live somewhere where you are more likely to get shot, live in abject poverty, be denied health care, let alone a country lead by Donald Trump?

Norway's per capita gross domestic product is $70,911.8 now, according to World Bank data. (The U.S. figure is $57,638.20.) Norway has higher life expectancy at birth than the U.S., lower rates of infant mortality, low unemployment, and access to the E U’s labour market (though it’s not an EU member). Norway is the world’s happiest country (the U.S. ranks 14), the place with the most political freedom (the U.S. ranks 45), most press freedom (the U.S. ranks 43rd), and most prosperity (the U.S. ranks 18).

He certainly shouldn't get a second term.
Well done African Nations for standing up to him.

I am not well versed in American politics (although I do know that Trump scares me!). Speaking to an American friend, who has voted Democrat her entire adult life, she tells me that if the Democrats had put forward a different candidate they would have won the election. The problem is that many Americans do not trust Hillary Clinton. My friend cites her actions, before and after, the attack on the Benghazi embassy and her attempts to use her position to attack the women who accused Bill of assault. My friend thinks that the votes for Trump were more a protest against Clinton. My friend's hope is that Trump will be impeached or will certainly not get a second term by which time the Democrats will have found a candidate the American people can trust.

Anniebach Sat 13-Jan-18 11:47:45

Shouldn't Trump be accepted here because - it's good to talk !
