Orchids and other lovely plants that don’t need a lot of attention
any thoughts?
He has a radio show Mon-Thurs evenings and Sunday evenings on LBC.
His views aren't controversial I agree with most he says and I expect most people who voted Leave do as well. His radio show on LBC on Sunday morning is very popular. I think Ukip is finished now, most Ukip supporters will in my opinion vote Conservative now May is delivering Brexit.
I'm puzzled why he gets so much air time too. He's MEP for the South East. Has a radio phone-in programme. Seems he ditched UKIP when it was no longer of use to him. I assume it's because his views are controversial.
I think it's called democracy.
I was going to say 'Well, Henry's gone then' but I see that djen has beaten me to it!
Why does this odious man still have a voice
,,,?
Nigel Farage is on Question Time either next Thursday or the one after. Should be interesting.
How does he sleep at night,? he fooled so many people,my elderly Mum thought he was almost the new Mesiah, she feels very let down & disappointed that she was taken in by him.
Nigel Farage, the former leader, told The Telegraph that UKIP is sending itself ‘down the path of self-destruction into irrelevance’.
He said: ‘Make no mistake, UKIP is collapsing. There is no point in pretending it is not. Indeed, the situation is even worse than the national press realises.’
Vote of no confidence in Bolton tomorrow.
Will they need a leader from now on?
If UKIP go bankrupt he can't even go back to them, can he...
Going round with a begging bowl?

So can someone remind me what is Nigel Farrage up to now ??
What ever it is, it can only mean more mayhem ( but not of that lady’s making)
This points out, yet again, that is was our government, not the EU that runs the system as it is. You cannot tell me exact figures about who comes in and who goes out because our government, unlike other governments, choose not to do the work.
^We lost control over our borders almost two decades ago. In 1998, Tony Blair removed exit checks. Nobody checks your passport once you have gone through security at an airport, as they do in virtually every other country in the world. As a result, we have no robust way of knowing exactly who has left this country. The government cannot even provide figures for illegal immigrants in the UK who are not detained to the nearest quarter of a million.
*Why doesn’t the government implement these exit checks?*^
Leaving the EU because you have believed the Leavers Lies will not improve the situation. It is, and always was, down to our government. Throw them out for not doing what you wanted not the EU who had no control over what they did or did not do!
Concern over immigration was one of the most important factors for those who voted for Brexit, yet we already have the power to take back control of the free movement of EU citizens to the UK – we just aren’t using it. Both major political parties’ front benches, and even cabinet members, are divided when it comes to whether Britain should remain in the single market, which entails allowing free movement of people within the EU. But the reality of immigration in Britain today is a far cry from the public’s perception.
That's not me saying it so you are allowed to believe it.
This is something our parliament has chosen to do - using our sovereignty.
But the UK does operate the Schengen Information System (SIS) which allows the UK to exchange information with Schengen countries for the purposes of cooperating on law enforcement.
Not a bad thing in my opinion or are you now saying we should not be doing this? Perhaps Leavers might even want to continue it? Or perhaps you could tell me why not.
So what does this mean Lemons or has you been told a Leave Lie about this too?
Unlike most other EU member states—and some countries outside the EU—the UK is not part of the Schengen passport-free area because it hasn’t signed the Schengen agreement. This means it can retain border controls.
Being part of the single market means that we can’t control numbers and any country that is trying to do that is in flagrant breach of EU laws.Free movement of goods and labour is an inherent part of being in the single market.
I am actually sure you know this now as it has been said on here so often Lemons but it just suits you to repeat the Leave lies.
Many of the EU countries have imposed controls. We could have done so. Governments have done so where they thought they would get the kudos. They were just to lazy and did not want to loose their whipping boy by setting up a proper system.
We could also have imposed some sort of registration for everyone going in and out so we actually have accurate figures instead of the nightmares of misinformation the Leave liars feed the MSM and their hangers-on.
They could have produced statics that were relevant. Yes they needed to produce them with students included but they could have also produced them without. The comparison would have been interesting.
If our own politicians had not found it politically expedient to be lazy and not do their own jobs, to lie and mislead so they could not be blamed for what they did not do, you and others would not be able to repeat the Leaver lies all the time.
controlled immigration is good, uncontrolled, as in the EU ,most definitely isn’t.
Immigration is just a part of being a nation that decides everything for itself.
Farage warned that the Government is betraying voters who supported Brexit because they are keen to stop mass migration.
Lord Livermore argued in the House of Lords last week that it is time for politicians of all parties to speak the truth: that immigration is good for our economy. The benefits of immigration are clear - it increases growth, provides more tax revenue, and helps pay for an ageing society. The greatest hostility to immigration is, in fact, to be found in those parts of our country where there are fewest immigrants. Reducing immigration won't solve the problems, because the reality is the problems were never caused by immigration in the first place
I did think that while I got annoyed with the slowness of my brain Jen - otherwise known as brian when I don't spot that one!
He might not be able to go on if he keeps retching, GracesGran.
Vive L’Entente Cordiale!
After Paws death I had to write quite a few letters and emails in French to his friends and my spellcheck/predictive text nearly had a nervous breakdown as it kept trying to change things back to “recognisable English”
I suppose I could have turned it off if I had known how to.
wretched not retched
