Admittedly, it's not quite as funny as the Russians comparing Skripal with Midsomer Murders, but I didn't think it was that bad for the FT.
They covered the meeting in Bristol last night where Thangam Debbonaire was targetted by Momentum and the far left.
“Why did you think it was right to go on the demonstration against anti-Semitism that brought the Labour party into disrepute?” Criticism of Corbyn is 'disgusting' and negative reports are 'just smears'.
Ms Debbonaire later said in a statement: “Unfortunately, my attempt to explain my attendance at the rally was shouted down and no attempt was made to stop this. I therefore left the meeting as it was unproductive.
“I have no problem being held to account — but this must be in an environment where I can give my response,” she added.
“Absolutely disgusting that a Labour MP is run out of a meeting by a heckling group of cranks,” said Holly Jones, secretary for Bristol Young Labour. “Members showed no respect.”
“Her stance on the anti-Semitism thing has gone down really badly with people there,” he added. “They’re thinking, ‘We need to get rid of Thangam’.”
“There’s a difference in approach within Momentum,” said one moderate Labour party member after Thursday’s meeting. “The younger members are more relaxed about Thangam, some of the older people, who were around in the 1980s, have got chips on their shoulders and a hatchet to bury.”

An interesting comment right at the end of the piece - it seems it's the oldies who tend to have Manichean views rather than the younger members.
Strictly after Claudia ...........
