What a fabulous titfer!!

I've gone all 'My Fair Lady' grin

I fail to see what's wrong with commenting on what someone who's photo is never out of the newspapers and clearly enjoys public attention is wearing.

She is/was an actress after all .

Anniebach Wed 20-Jun-18 11:30:44

I find the arm clinging rather strange, a woman in her mid thirties, actress, addressesed the UN is suddenly shy and vulnerable ?

Chewbacca Wed 20-Jun-18 11:17:19

Sisterhood! Great to see it's alive and kicking.

maryeliza54 Wed 20-Jun-18 11:15:38

She’s not a girl she’s a 36 year old woman in the public eye- and how we turn ourselves out is completely irrelevant.

sarahellenwhitney Wed 20-Jun-18 11:11:35

Meghan is petite, with a flawless skin This hat smothered her. She should have a word with Sophie Wessex who got it right with a choice of hat that didn't hide her naturel beauty.

mabon1 Wed 20-Jun-18 10:48:03

Leave the girl be. I wonder how all of you who make disparaging remarks turn out on special occasions - perfect no doubt!!!!!

dragonfly46 Wed 20-Jun-18 10:44:40

I love the outfit but still find it looks a little big on her. Is she pregnant I wonder?

Iam64 Wed 20-Jun-18 09:34:41

Nope, she won't Mapleleaf. I find it very distasteful to be quite so personally unpleasant about any young woman, particularly one who so far as I can see, hasn't harmed anyone and is doing her best in her new role.

Mapleleaf Wed 20-Jun-18 09:22:33

Poor Meghan. Seems she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. In some eyes, she'll never get it right, will she?
.

annsixty Wed 20-Jun-18 09:19:26

Does she ever stop clinging to Harry? If she is not holding his hand/arm , she is touching his back.
In anyone else I would think it was insecurity, but she seems to have confidence in abundance.

Anniebach Wed 20-Jun-18 09:00:50

She is now being compared with Audrey Hepburn , not in looks, by choosing Givenchy to design her clothes.

SueDonim Tue 19-Jun-18 23:36:50

Hahaha! grin

merlotgran Tue 19-Jun-18 23:30:58

Amazon? I was hoping it might end up on eBay like Beatrice's pretzel hat. grin

Cheaper.

SueDonim Tue 19-Jun-18 23:04:10

Have you cancelled your Amazon order for one of those hats, Merlot? grin

phoenix Tue 19-Jun-18 23:00:16

The problem with links to newspapers is that they change!

The one merlot posted is now all about something rather sad , although of course that will change too.

muffinthemoo Tue 19-Jun-18 22:52:42

I am not a big fan of that dress. Seems casual for a member of the Royal Family at Ascot.

I also think Clare Waight Keller routinely puts her in things that are a couple of inches too long.

But then no one ever appointed me to head Givenchy, so what do I know!!

merlotgran Tue 19-Jun-18 22:34:04

grin Stop it!

I really loved the hat when I first saw it. grin

gillybob Tue 19-Jun-18 22:06:29

Sorry but from the side it reminds me of a plate in a Chinese restaurant with chopsticks laid out ready to use.

Anniebach Tue 19-Jun-18 21:53:15

A shirtwaister too casual though

maryeliza54 Tue 19-Jun-18 21:26:43

Horrible dress nice hat

Iam64 Tue 19-Jun-18 21:11:36

lovely

Nannylovesshopping Tue 19-Jun-18 20:35:06

You're right, Sue. The hat looks lovely from the front but from the side? grin grin

SueDonim Tue 19-Jun-18 17:45:33

She looks lovely but from the side, the hat looks like one of those hood things they wear in The Handmaid's Tale!

petra Tue 19-Jun-18 17:38:44

Lovely hat, nice frock. But not the two together. The hat was too formal and structured for a casual frock. IMHO grin
