I am pleased you had a lovely day out with friends, locals and also expats from all over. Like you I enjoyed a lovely social day out with friends and family with no Brexit talk or trouble making.
Were the friends, locals and xpats you speak of today the same ones you spoke of on the other Brexit thread a couple of days ago when you said this of them:-
" So yes, my French friends, neighbours and students, are really annoyed and would be quite happy to boycott the UK, as tourists, consumers, investors, utilities providors, and so on."
I am pleased to hear you ' try and tell them they are a tiny minority ' but that begs the question why do you post only about how bad the UK is compared to Switzerland .
I acknowledge you do not shirk at the point made re the EU telling the Swiss they could not carry out their referendum result to limit immigration , in other words Switzerland is just as much in hock to the EU as anybody else in certain areas, however you will say time and again how happy you are to live in Switzerland not the UK.
