Labour Party Conference

According to Labour List the three big issues set to dominate the conference this year.

1. Rule Changes. 2. Anti semitism. Brexit.

1. Comes under the democracy review proposals (plus open parlimentary selections ) another round which will be discussed and voted on by the NEC on Saturday.

2. Will likely crop up at fringe events !!!!

3. Mainly revolves around the idea of a second referendum
- termed ‘ a people’s vote’ by its advocates - and could change Labour .policy dramatically.

No attack Anniesimply an assertion that I don't know how you can dismiss the homeless and the soup kitchens that feed them. I would have asked you about it but I know you don't like to be asked things. So all I can do is wonder.

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 18:30:21

Another dig at my faith, this time from OldMeg,

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 18:31:16

Wonder away trisher if it helps you pass time

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 18:31:17

Anniebach I am a poster who this week acted as tutor on a trade union course where those attending wished to see their places of work made safer.

That was all paid for by the Unite Union as they pay for the Labour party through the affiliation subscriptions of those members.

Those trade unions you anniebach as a closet Tory have continuously condemned. Now you even slur the greatest peacetime government this country has ever had that being the 1945 administration of Clement Atlee.

Yes, it was 73 years ago, but the benefits of that government are still surviving to the benefit of us all. So annibach, unless you do not use the NHS that service is still there for you

Of course, all the services brought forward by that great government have been greatly weakened by your conservative party and the Blair government years.

trisher Fri 28-Sept-18 18:38:10

And even if they choose to live on the streets Annie shouldn't they be fed?

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 18:38:58

By the way, I will ask again, do you condemn the use of Gig Economy employment anniebach?

I greatly suspect that we will not get an answer from someone who " claims"twenty-five years (or is it fifty now) exemplary membership of the Labour Party?

nigglynellie Fri 28-Sept-18 18:41:41

Perhaps it's because you're Welsh?!! If so, racist I'd say?? Impossible to see what else it could be!!? but you're certainly a bee in certain peoples bonnets!! No discussion with you, no pooling ideas, no trying to understand how you feel! Just political dogma and bully boy tactics! How diplomatic is that!!? Rather sad really!

lemongrove Fri 28-Sept-18 18:49:32

Annie I think some are disgruntled that so many on GN are voicing dislike of Corbyn now, so they need to shout a bit.
You're certainly not alone in your opinion of ‘the plonker’.
Loads of us agree with you!

OldMeg Fri 28-Sept-18 18:49:59

Excuse me, there was no dig at your faith Annie ....do you mean because I quoted John.14:2?

Since when do you ha e exclusive rights to the New Testament? If I quoted Shakespeare would that be an attack on actors or the RSC?

If you can explain your ‘reasoning’ I’d like to hear that, or best to follow the advice that its ‘better to remain silent and be thought....’

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 18:51:49

Below is what anniebach really believes of trade union members as here is a section of a post by her on the 08/09/2018 @18:46

Post begins here:-
And all union members during the Blair government were Male, single and childless.
Post ends

Totally disgusting.

trisher Fri 28-Sept-18 18:52:58

niggly I have lost count of the times I have tried to debate with Annie. When she posts an idea - e.g 'there are no soup kitchens'- I always try to respond although some of her ideas are a complete anathema to me. But if you can find me any political ideas she has posted I will be delighted to discuss them.

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 18:55:43

Who are you referring to as being Welsh nigglynellie?

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 19:00:23

Yes , quite correct a section of my post , why not the whole post ?

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 19:00:48

Truth is Trisher, all anniebach politics are mythology and living in the past.

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 19:02:10

I am being bullied

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 19:04:38

Very well anniebach, here is your full post of the
08/09/2018 @18:46

Post begins here:-
1997 papers released under the 30 year rule show Robens worked with the NUM to gather support, then agreed the wording of a letter from Marsh refusing Robens resignation BEFORE his supposed resignation.

And all union members during the Blair government were Male, single and childless.
Post ends

Again totally disgusting

lemongrove Fri 28-Sept-18 19:06:05

Yes, you are Annie you should ask GNHQ to look at this matter!
It never looks good when several members are insulting and keep going after another GN member in this way. Very poor behaviour.

lemongrove Fri 28-Sept-18 19:07:21

The only disgusting thing is your bullying posts to Annie
Granda43

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 19:15:59

lemongrove, I seem to recall that you were involved in similar with me only last evening.

Anniebach is not being "bullied", she is only being asked to justify her Labour part thinking and beliefs as compared to present day Labour Party policy.

I have also compared what anniebach has stated previously in regard to trade union members as a whole.

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 19:16:25

Yes that is my post . Cannot remember which thread , was it the thread where you called the deaths of 144 people, of whom 116 were children ‘ an event’ everyone refers to it as a disaster , it certaintly was not an event.

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 19:19:21

Quite sad really, ttisher drags my faith into this thread, shortly followed by OldMeg quoting scripture, pure coincidence i’m Sure ?

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 19:19:24

Anniebach makes herself a huge target in what she posts on this forum. In that she then constantly will not expand on any of those posts when requested.

Grandad1943 Fri 28-Sept-18 19:23:38

Anniebach, I have never called the Aberfan disaster "an event". That is a figment of your "imagination"

If you can demonstrate where I have done so please bring forward the evidence.

nigglynellie Fri 28-Sept-18 19:23:39

I'm referring to Annie G.d because she is!!! Have you a problem with that?! I echo your comments lemon, this constant bullying and gunning for Annie particularly by G.d has got progressively more unpleasant and totally unnecessary. Perhaps G.d you are unaware that Annie is well liked on this forum and a lot of us of all political persuasions are getting just a little sick of you in particular relentlessly attacking her. Even her deeply held faith is being used as a weapon- unbelievable!

Anniebach Fri 28-Sept-18 19:25:41

Yes you did grandad1943 , you said that event took place fifty years ago.
