The Nasty Labour Party - what they really stand for.

Rod Liddle took Labour to the cleaners on Question Time. I fully agree with his assessment.

“I really wish that the people who were taken in by [Labour] and agreed with that, would look to the left beyond the podium and see the rabble with their Palestinian flags and their lanyards sponsored by Hamas, would look to the raft of hypocrites on the Labour front bench. Thornberry, Abbott, Chakrabarti – all of whom don’t want you to send your kids to private schools or selective schools but do so for their kids, and for Corbyn and McDonnell, who have given support and succour to every possible hostile, violent, anti-democratic terrorist regime or organisation they can. IRA, Hamas, Hezbollah, Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela.

If you want people like that running your country, vote for Corbyn.”

jura2 I would prefer a trained chimp over JC????

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 12:44:53

GrannyGravy, yes Corbyn did call for Article 50 to be invoked the morning following the referendum results.

jura2 Sat 29-Sept-18 12:43:48

As for the meaning of 'Democracy', Lord Livslane (who looks like Dickie Attenborough- gave a very good and funny description in the Lords the other day. About him giving his old aunts a treat, and them choosing to go to the cinema... did you see it. About right, I say ...

Democracy based on lies and proven fraud, with a tiny majority - DEMANDS that people are given a chance to vote on the final deal offered, with eyes opened to the consequences. Punkt- Schluss- end of story.

Again, and again - what are you scared of if you are so sure. Would you prefer a GE being forced upon the country? Would you prefer BoJo taking the reins...

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 12:42:24

I do realise why the flags were waved Jura, I do have a degree of intellegence , it was still goading the Jewish community .

jura2 Sat 29-Sept-18 12:38:47

No Annie- the Palestinian flag was in support of those who suffer terribly at the moment at the hands of Zionists.

"The Nasty Labour Party" what they really stand for!

I think they are the nasty party judging by the posts on this thread.

I thought the following might be of interest.

Education budget 2015 £84bn
Education budget 2018 £102bn

So the headmasters were making a protest about cuts in education?

JC is on record/filmed asking for article 50 to be invoked now, immediately the day after the referendum.

Momentum website asking for people to come out in protest outside the Tory conference @ 12pm today, unfortunately the conference does not start till tomorrow!!!

jura2 Sat 29-Sept-18 12:33:44

Rod Liddles performance on QT was quite simpy nasty and appaling- and those who think otherwise say a lot about themselves, for sure.

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 12:12:34

I never reply to demands Maizie

MaizieD Sat 29-Sept-18 12:05:31

So which definition of 'democracy' are some people on here not accepting, Annie?

It's not fair to make a statement like that and then not tell us exactly what definition you're using.

GillT57 Sat 29-Sept-18 12:03:03

I thought QT was awful this week. Rod Liddle is a vulgar loud mouth. The Labour supporter, whatever his name is, was a crashing bore churning out 1970s rhetoric.

MawBroon Sat 29-Sept-18 11:39:55

Have you not heard of Rod Liddle Grandad?
g.co/kgs/uFUeCT

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 11:38:41

Yes , seems there are many definitions , I read one definition
- the type of government in the United States

MaizieD Sat 29-Sept-18 11:34:59

What definition would that be, Annie?

There are many, many definitions, you know.

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 10:47:18

A crime, I made a typing error.

True , some here who keep on and on and on about democracy don’t accept the definition of it.

trisher Sat 29-Sept-18 10:21:48

If we are allowed to wave a Union Jack , which let's face it is based on the domintion of other countries are the Palestinian people not entitled to wave a Palestinian flag? This condemnation of those who support the Palestinians who speak out against their appalling treatment and the Gaza situation is plainly ridiculous. This attempt to blacken the name of the Labour party smacks of desperation. Rod Liddle is plainly snatching at straws. If it wasn't so pahetic it might be funny.

Grandad1943 Sat 29-Sept-18 09:25:24

Anniebach Quote[ A fourth Labour MP has lost a vote of confidence. Chris Leslie, - not being loyal to Corbyn.] End Quote.

And the closet Tories are out again.
He lost a VOTE of no confidence anniebach.

A vote by the constituency party which is known democracy. Many do not recognize that on this forum unless the decision coincides with their views obviously.

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 09:13:47

Waving the Palestinian flag was cocking a snoop at the Jewish community.

Grandad1943 Sat 29-Sept-18 09:12:30

Is Liddle the opening poster in this thread MaizieD, as I Believe I may recognise him/her from a different forum under another name?

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 08:52:15

A fourth Labour MP has lost a vote of confidence . Chris Leslie, - not being loyal to Corbyn.

petra Sat 29-Sept-18 08:36:23

Lemon
leave it Kev I've seen a few of those in my time grin

Anniebach Sat 29-Sept-18 08:21:29

Rod Liddle is a suspended member of The Labour Party

lemongrove Sat 29-Sept-18 08:17:28

notanan2 you are spot on, all criticisms are deflected with
‘But look, they are not the Tory Party!’
Not good enough is it?

lemongrove Sat 29-Sept-18 08:14:52

MaizieD grin you sound like a teenager outside a nightclub shouting ‘Leave it Kev, he isn’t worth it’ during a drunken brawl.

lemongrove Sat 29-Sept-18 08:13:09

Haha, predictable replies from the ‘usual suspects’ Corbyn fan club on GN.
Of course the Labour Conference was ‘successful’ it was bursting at the seams with hard left members who delighted in hearing hard left speeches.Whahey! Let’s have a General Strike if we don’t get our way and have a General Election!
This gem from a Labour MP, Laura Smith, which gets an embarrassed Burgon to applaud and the entire floor on their feet applauding.

PECS Sat 29-Sept-18 00:36:15

Exactly Maizie

There is no shame in waving the Palestinian flag.
