Have I nodded off and dreamed this?
I swear I saw one of those flashing headlines at the top of my iPad screen announcing that Meghan and Harry are expecting a baby in the Spring.

Well I am so happy for them. And hope they will be left alone to enjoy it.

But what timing hey, what timing ;)

Lucky Meghan obviously doesn't suffer from extreme morning sickness like poor Kate who would never have been able to undertake a foreign tour in early pregnancy.

DD and I have just been speculating on inherited genes - ginger hair on Meghan's lovely skin tone maybe? And will Meghan and Harry adopt the Hollywood habit of wearing their kids like fashion accessories until they're just about old enough to start school?

Doubt it somehow! grin

Good news makes a change from Bre....... Very clever to announce it in Oz.

Maggiemaybe Mon 15-Oct-18 12:56:49

Ah, lovely. I suppose they announced it after the wedding so as not to steal the limelight. We had a memorable weekend once - DD1 got married, DDIL was expecting her first, and DD2 told us the next morning that she was too. Magical!

Lovely news for a dull Monday morning I am so pleased for them specially for Harry where he can enjoy the pleasures of becoming a father.
Now we know why Megan's mum has been over so often since the wedding I do hope she moves here so she can be a hands on granny like Kates mum.

nigglynellie Mon 15-Oct-18 11:55:17

Sadly, past experience tells us they often do!!

It was probably said in the hope of stirring up a juicy royal argument, suzied.

suzied Mon 15-Oct-18 11:49:28

Why should people assume that anti royalists would say something spiteful? I say good luck to them and hope it all goes well- - this doesn't mean I am a royalist ( Im not).

All new babies are a joyflowers

Cherrytree59 Mon 15-Oct-18 10:53:55

Hope Harry will opt to visit Fiji and Tonga
without Meghan by his side.

Zika virus is a danger to pregnant women.

It seems they are. Wishing them well.

Jalima1108 Mon 15-Oct-18 10:49:41

Oh goodness, I missed it!
When is the baby due?
I thought you shouldn't fly in the first trimester so is she past that time?

Please will some nice kind, caring and very rich man marry Beatrice. She needs a happy ending.
Yes, who can we find?
However, there is time yet, she's only 32.

merlotgran Mon 15-Oct-18 10:37:28

All aboard the KP accommodation merry go round. Who will move into Nottingham Cottage when Harry and Meghan pop across to their new palatial pad? My money's on Beatrice.

Please will some nice kind, caring and very rich man marry Beatrice. She needs a happy ending.

I am a republican but that does not mean I wish harm or unhappiness to individuals. It is the system I dislike. The people involved may be delightful and hardworking or not. I do not know any of them so cannot love them or hate them!

henetha Mon 15-Oct-18 10:30:54

I'm very happy for them, no matter what.

Charleygirl5 Mon 15-Oct-18 10:23:42

That is lovely news- I have missed seeing her on TV recently.

MawBroon Mon 15-Oct-18 10:23:32

Harrigran ! Psychic?
How are you on next week’s Lottery numbers? ??

Jane10 Mon 15-Oct-18 10:22:23

Not anti royalist, just not interested in this 'sleb'.

nigglynellie Mon 15-Oct-18 10:19:11

What will t be anti royalists say? Something horrible and spiteful no doubt!!

harrigran Mon 15-Oct-18 10:07:40

I told DH more than a week ago that she was pregnant, us women just know these things smile

TerriBull Mon 15-Oct-18 10:06:24

There had been a lot of speculation due to the cut of Meghan's coat at the wedding, so nice news. Particularly pleased for Harry, he's been yearning for fatherhood for a while it seems. Meghan's mother has been talking of coming over and possibly settling here, that would be lovely for her daughter. Hope it all goes well for all of them.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 15-Oct-18 09:10:21

Really pleased for them both, she looked radiant this morning after the long flight down under!!

Hellosunshine Mon 15-Oct-18 09:00:01

Yes been announced. Wonder what the anti royalists will have to say?

Alygran Mon 15-Oct-18 09:00:00

Not imagined. Flashed on my screen and just mentioned on the radio.

mcem Mon 15-Oct-18 08:59:33

Yes you didn't imagine it maw.
I've just posted too but will have it deleted.
