LBC are reporting that SB lawyers are trying to verify that her new born son has died

GabriellaG54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:51:05

In cases like this, I have a heart of quartz. Virtually unbreakable.

This teenager was groomed, raped, lived under regular bombardment in Syria, saw horrendous atrocities, best friend killed in the bombing, been moved from refugee camp to refugee camp, her “husband” imprisoned, given birth to three babies all of whom have died.
She may have moved to Syria willingly as a fifteen year old, but surely there must be human sympathy for her plight.

I don’t care whether you like being lectured or not- the comments were addressed to you because what you posted was factually wrong and legally ( not to mention morally) indefensible. So tough

BlueBelle Fri 08-Mar-19 18:45:42

I don’t think you have to be religious to feel compassion just have a human heart not a block of stone Gabriella

maryeliza54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:45:40

Not long enough not to be the father

GabriellaG54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:45:33

It's a good job I know that that comment wasn't 'addressed' to me because I don't like being lectured.

maryeliza54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:45:12

Faith or not GG you have no understanding of the rule of law or due process and clearly want to live in a society where neither applies and want our politicians ( God help us) to administer justice

Joelsnan Fri 08-Mar-19 18:43:59

How long has her husband been in Jail?

maryeliza54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:43:17

Gill what’s that about being welcomed into a faith - perhaps you should look up the word compassion which has nothing to do necessarily with welcoming her into a faith. Are you saying that no Christian could feel compassion for her. If that’s your view of Christianity then I’m horrified.

GabriellaG54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:40:58

Some posters do not believe in religion(s) and I am one of them.
I have no compassion whatsoever for that woman. None.

maryeliza54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:39:24

GG you are completely wrong about that- if she appeals then due process will decide whether or not she is stateless - having the baby or not is irrelevant to that issue. And because we have the rule of law in this country, it won’t be the would be PM who will decide her fate. You are describing the sort of society that ISIS would want - no due process, no rule of law, just hatred, bitterness and prejudice to others.

Urmstongran Fri 08-Mar-19 18:38:44

That's a disgusting thing to say if it's not true, I sincerely hope the lawyer is not trying to pretend the poor baby has died to win sympathy for this woman.

GabriellaG54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:38:06

GillT57
I doubt whether any faith welcomes terrorism or has sympathy for people who wish harm to others, as she appears to do and have done. Inured to the sight of heads in bins and unwilling to renounce her beliefs...I doubt any Christian would welcome her into the fold.
Might as well put an asp to the bosom of Britain.

Lily65 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:36:33

The point I am making is in that The Mail has a story saying the baby has died. Many people believe every word they and everything they are told by those who write The Mail.

crystaltipps Fri 08-Mar-19 18:35:28

Still on Sky that Syrian forces say this report isn’t true- Sky usually get news before the BBC ( Or rather they announce news before the BBC)

maryeliza54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:34:28

Gill did you mean ‘a few people’ or’few people’. I can’t help but wonder why there are some posters who are so full of bitterness and hate that they have no compassion in a situation like this. Compassion isn’t something that is solely reserved for those who ‘deserve’ it - maybe some Christian can post about how Jesus might have reacted to a situation like this?

GabriellaG54 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:31:50

If the rumours are really true, then that puts the kibosh well and truly on her thoughts of being allowed back to the UK, however, how would we know that any child she purports to want to bring here, is her flesh and blood.
DNA testing at the very least, that's if ( and it's a big IF ) our government were daft enough to consider her wish to come here.

JenniferEccles Fri 08-Mar-19 18:14:31

Well judging by her comments about the deaths of her first two children, if this one has also died, any pity for her is misplaced.

She stated to a journalist that the other children's deaths affected her husband far more than her.

GillT57 Fri 08-Mar-19 18:12:52

Few people on here need to check their so called Christian faith.

EllanVannin Fri 08-Mar-19 18:05:08

If there was a baby in the first place. Latest reports were pretty sketchy.

"Well is says so in the Mail ?"
-

What point are you making. What does it say in the Mail?

BlueBelle Fri 08-Mar-19 18:03:31

Oh poor girl I m afraid it may not be the accepted thing but I can’t help feeling very sorry for that girl
It seems to have been confirmed on the BBC news tonight
