Four votes!! That's damn close.

varian Wed 20-Mar-19 18:33:50

Let's just look forward to waking up on 30th March and finding that the UK is still a member of the EU.

jura2 Wed 20-Mar-19 18:29:07

I wonder if he realises that we will probably not be allowed to Trade on WTO rules?

Nandalot Wed 20-Mar-19 18:24:05

I am putting Andy on the spot because he is so jubilant at the thought of no deal.

MaizieD Wed 20-Mar-19 18:12:06

I suspect that the IRA are ready to go...

Gonegirl Wed 20-Mar-19 18:12:00

andy you do realise it's not going to happen next week don't you?

andycameron69 Wed 20-Mar-19 18:10:41

Gonegirl Wed 20-Mar-19 18:10:26

Nobody's got an answer to that! Why put Andy on the spot?

Nandalot Wed 20-Mar-19 18:06:12

Andy, I asked you on another thread about Ireland. What do you think would happen to Ireland in the event of a no deal?
. Do you have an answer?

varian Wed 20-Mar-19 18:05:59

It is only three days before the People's Vote march in London. Only a fool would predict what might happen after that.

andycameron69 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:01:29

Under a no-deal scenario, the EU has said that the UK would have a ‘third country’ status. Essentially, this means that any trade between the UK and the EU will become subject to World Trade Organisation (WTO) rules for imports and exports. Under WTO rules, tariffs could be as high as 38%, which would make almost everything more expensive.

andycameron69 Mon 18-Mar-19 17:13:52

yeah the sinister EU totally.

so obvious to me
grin

jura2 Mon 18-Mar-19 11:47:26

Conspiracy theories some of you will say- and dismiss. But anyone who cannot now see that there are some very sinister powers at play currently- is being really naïve and deluded:

And in the meantime, Comrade Farage is going to EU countries begging them to stop our own Sovereign Parliamentary Democracy from doing its job. The irony and hypocrisy is beyond the beyond

James O’Brien said ‘begging “foreign” politicians to frustrate the democratic will of the United Kingdom’s sovereign Parliament’ was the most ‘hypocritical, morally corrupt and contemptuous thing Farage could do’. Others asked ‘What about our sovereignty Farage???’

especially as we now know that he and friends like Banks plotted with Russia and Trump to manipulate the vote.

So AC thinks we’re going become GB again, Rule Britannia and all that, send a gunboat up the Yangtze to quell those pesky rebels. Well sorry AC and all you other Brexiteers who want to relive past glories that was 150 yrs ago when Britain was at the cutting edge of technology.

The reality is that the vast majority of our industries are foreign owned and we are a workshop that it is convenient to exploit. We cannot even retain control of our utilities and strategic industries they have all been sold off for short term gain, even if we did regain any control globalization would negate it.

andycameron69 Mon 18-Mar-19 07:46:24

how funny thanks for the welcome too. I belong and so love it here.

Out we go WTO will be great for us.

I am quite daft but hey ho, that's me

GabriellaG54 Mon 18-Mar-19 07:07:03

Hypocrite

MaizieD Sun 17-Mar-19 23:28:45

Oh dear. I'm always amazed that some Gnetters love to leap in to tell others how to behave. It's like being in a primary school with a load of bossy little girls at times..

Keep on posting, andy. You're boring as hell but you've every right to be here grin

Sophiesox Sun 17-Mar-19 22:46:02

Oh dear, sometimes heavy sarcasm can be worse than an outright rant. It saddens me that people of our ‘maturity’ think this is an acceptable way to treat someone who has a different point of view. A rant indicates passion, which is understandable. Sarcasm has a certain slyness that has a nasty edge. I’m glad my posts are few and far between!

Gonegirl Sun 17-Mar-19 20:24:39

Oh, poor you GabriellaG54. My heart bleeds for you. hmm

GabriellaG54 Sun 17-Mar-19 20:22:12

I'm getting a bit ticked off with AC's pseudo camp inane chatter, all oohs and aahhs and nothing of substance.
Tiresome to say the least.

crystaltipps Sun 17-Mar-19 20:11:12

We have a deal with Morocco already via the EU. Nothing like reinventing the wheel.
