Don't forget the Italians. Beppo Grillo and the Five Star movement did very well in both the 2013 and 2018 elections and came close to forming a government

We had a young Ukrainian friend visiting recently who told us all about the prospective candidate, it wasn’t complimentary! She was mortified at the prospect of his being elected.

'Laughing stock' does not now only apply to us in the UK.

Reading the news re Volodymyr Zelensky, it's good to know that we aren't the only country in the world to have a clown in government.
