Danny Baker should be sacked immediately

Have you never done anything that people who know you well, and like you, criticised, lemon? Criticism from his "followers" could well have been what made him sit down and think properly and admit that he'd behaved like an eejit (or even a racist).

Seriously, how can anyone think what he did is alright, it’s mind boggling!
First, he posted the pic and caption, then, when even his followers pointed out that it wasn’t on to do that, he deleted it, then he made light of the whole thing and had a rant at the BBC, then, at long last gave out a proper apology ( who wrote that is a matter for speculation) but it was done no doubt with his future prospects in mind.

I think the latest apology on twitter is coming from a man who has had a chance to think about it all.

If you know anything about Danny Baker he isn't a PR person.One of the reasons people like him is because he tends to speak out about whatever he likes. As I said before it isn't the first time he's been sacked or quit and he always bounces back because the high ups know he brings in the audiences.
Oh and he's quite capable of writing his own press releases. He is a writer as well as a broadcaster you know. I wish people would take the time to learn something about the man they are criticising.

Of course he’s had the PR people in. They would have been up all night drafting that statement and telling him where to make the breaks so it would fit within the Twitter word limit. They probably tweeted it for him in fact . to prevent any mishaps. What a snivelling whinging manchild he’s shown himself to be.
