Banning milkshakes to save Farage

Well Newcastle got him today but police in Edinburgh asked McDonald's not to sell milkshakes whilst he was there. What do you think? Is he fair game? Is it OK to target right wing politicians? Or should milkshakes be banned?

If you have information that this was fake then stand by your source and post or go to the police

Why wouldn’t you. wink

WadesNan Sun 26-May-19 18:12:01

I have information proving the moon landings were faked - but I am not posting it grin

maryeliza54 Sun 26-May-19 18:04:42

Elvive if I had that footage, I would go to the police or send it to the Guardian or Independent. It’s not right to have information like that and not pass it on as rumours are flying around.

lemongrove Sun 26-May-19 18:03:44

Not if he walked off and nobody knows who he is.
Unfortunately I think that throwing milk/yoghurt /shakes will now become popular with the one brain cell types.

Elvive Sun 26-May-19 17:56:44

Do you think the yoghurt hurler will be charged?

A radicalised yoghurt chucker.

Elvive Sun 26-May-19 17:52:27

I'm not posting it because it is from a local bystander. I don't feel it's fair to post it.

And I will not be responding to heckling on here either.

Oh and I'm a not a fake news loving leftie.

lemongrove Sun 26-May-19 17:45:58

Mycat ?it certainly is hard work.

lemongrove Sun 26-May-19 17:44:52

The incident involving Farage is not made up or staged, and
Nobody so far has proved that the incident involving the older man with the Brexit rosette and yoghurt was staged either.
While it may have been ( anything is possible) there is no cctv footage showing that.
So, Elvive what exactly is your proof? If you have it, then share it.Links and information from what source?

Nonnie Sun 26-May-19 16:50:43

Kapitan please explain how the EU system of election is different to the UK one?

Kapitan Sun 26-May-19 16:46:24

The sooner we put distance between us and the unelected and unaccountable European Commission the better.

Mycatisahacker Sun 26-May-19 16:33:57

And finally I never said you were lying

Mycatisahacker Sun 26-May-19 15:44:01

I give up too much hard work

trisher Sun 26-May-19 15:27:21

Mary Gawthorpe-suffragette- knew how to handle hecklers and thrown objects At one outdoor meeting she became weary of the heckling. When a man shouted, “If you were my wife I’d give you poison,” Gawthorpe replied, “Yes, and if I was your wife I’d take it.” Another who was frustrated by her repartee threw a cabbage at her, which she caught and threw back.

paddyann Sun 26-May-19 12:41:45

why not just ban Farage ..simpler all round Milkshakes dont do half as much harm as he has done /will do

Nonnie Sun 26-May-19 12:23:09

If a poster has seen the footage, or knows someone who saw the incident, they would not have proof but would trust their source. It is unfair that because you can't see the proof you suggest they are lying. Once again I suggest your response says more about the way your mind works than the person who posted something they believed to be true. We don't all plot and scheme against others you know. Some of us are actually honest. Think about it

maryeliza54 Sun 26-May-19 11:33:00

Someone pretending to be the owner of the shop posted on Twitter that he had the cctv of the incident proving it was self inflicted. His twitter account has now been suspended as it seems very clear it was not true - think about it if the footage existed he would have sold it for £1000s

Mycatisahacker Sun 26-May-19 11:26:22

Otherwise we should just imprison the accused without any proof?

I mean who needs proof. You just believe the accuser hmm

Mycatisahacker Sun 26-May-19 11:24:37

Baffled!

If you have proof that proves it to you. But you can’t expect other people to believe you as you are an anonymous poster who may lie constantly or be as pure as the driven snow.

I am not accusing you of lying I don’t know if you ate or are not I don’t know you.

But you saying you have proof means nothing does it unless you can share that proof. hmm

Nonnie Sun 26-May-19 11:16:18

mycat you have proof that grans lie? Or is it simply that you lie and assume we all do too?

Lots of things are true even if there is no public proof but accusing someone of falsehood, unless you have proof of falsehood, is not only unkind it is downright bitchy. As I have said before, making unfounded accusations about people says more about the accusers mind than the accused.

Elvive Sat 25-May-19 09:52:26

I have links and information. I'm not posting them.

Mycatisahacker Fri 24-May-19 23:21:46

Mycatisahacker Fri 24-May-19 23:19:57

Mycatisahacker Fri 24-May-19 23:16:24
