In my experience people opting to teach in private schools are often paid less and do not have the option of contributing to a pension scheme. Many bankers would not have the capacity or temperament to teach -particularly young or handicapped children.
Nurses doctors and other medical staff work extremely hard and in many cases have been paying for their training whilst working for nothing - they do it because they wish to help people.
As you say each to their own and many people are content to work in a profession which gives them satisfaction rather than having a goal to simply gain money which is more than they actually need to live a fruitful life.
I wasn’t aware that I was gg54g I’m simply reminding people of the devastation that the bankers caused to the world economy, and the fact that the poor are still paying the price.
I am very aware of all the banking sectors, having worked on banking tax and spending quite a few years in the City doing just that.

Oh I totally agree about the illegal schemes but let's not tar all bankers with the same brush.
There are many sectors to banking and not all of them are conducive to illegal trading.
And maybe most people aren’t dishonestly getting loads of money and causing a collapse and recession.
...and maybe not all people are altruistic.
I certainly wouldn't want to earn less just so that I can wear a halo and gripe at those who earn big bucks.
If teachers or nurses want to earn more there is always the private sector or bank nursing which pays far more than others doing exactly the same job.
It's not right to chide others for their free choice of career.
I myself have experience of working in both private and public sectors doing the same job and both were my choice.
Should more be thought of me for accepting the position attracting a lesser salary?
No one is blaming them for their salary/ bonuses (although you can question whether those huge bonuses are earned or necessary etc, but they are being blamed for illegal schemes that fed their greed for loads of money.

Maybe footballers should only be paid for stress and not for 90 minutes of running up and down a field and occasionally kicking a ball.
No-one forces nurses to be nurses or teachers to teach or bankers to be bankers.
Only you choose your profession or career and if it's one where your salary is less than a banker, singer, sportsman/woman or a plumber, whose 'fault' is that?
You cannot then 'blame' them for choosing a field where the possible rewards are higher.
In 2002 the big banks came under fire by an MP criticising the varying rates that are charged by them even though they quoted the same interest rate the charges varied by each one was as much as 40%. Greedy or what ?
The banks excuse was in case of the risks in credit card lending !
There'll never be transparency in the way that banks work.
Scary stuff which needs to be made public.

Just to be clear to those who don’t know, beyond Trump campaign manager and Cambridge Analytica VP, who Bannon is.
He supports every far right political party in Europe - Le Pen, Orban, Wilders, Salvini, AfD
Our next PM is being advised by a Proto Fascist.
The bankers caused the biggest economic recession in decades because of greed pure and simple.
They knowingly bundled bad mortgages and sold them in order to increase the money supply. Money which was based on nothing!
Maybe the bankers should only get a reasonable reward for the stress of their jobs rather than the totally over the top ones they get at the moment. Many many other people have stressful jobs and are giving much more to the communities they live in without lining their own pockets - teachers, doctors, nurses besides those doing charity work and volunteering.
The Bankers worked very hard to cause the 2008 crash which we are still paying for - they managed to cause at least one bank to fail - although an American bank many employees in U.K. lost their jobs.
I am sure ‘we’ the general population are very low on the list when it comes to people benefitting from the schinanigans of the bankers!
The vast majority of bankers operate above board and their remit is to make money, for their firms and, indirectly, for you and me.
It's a stressful job and yes, they are well rewarded in line with their successes.
As in every sphere of life, only controversial and illegal machinations command headlines.
Can't argue with JC's comments on greedy bankers.
One thing in Corbyn's favour------he'll at least attempt to stamp out this greed which is tantamount to a cancer which is spreading rapidly. I'm all for that as it's an obnoxious trait.
No we don't want a pound shop Trump nor Mr Hunt who wants to privatise our NHS.
Boris said he is on the side of the bankers can you believe that? The greedy bankers who caused the crash to the economy.
36 Bankers, 96 Years In Jail. Local news outlet Fréttablaðið has calculated that in the past few years the Icelandic judiciary has sentenced 36 bankers to a total of 96 years in prison. All of the criminal cases are linked to the notorious crash of the Icelandic banking system in 2008.7 Feb 2018
As you know Mr Corbyn has a different view.

Alarming reading WWM2. I had already read similar. How can Johnson 'invite' Farage to be his deputy unless NF is a Tory? It seems we're being stitched up.
Steve Bannon is an American who helped Trump get into the Whitehouse and remained with Trump as his chief strategist until Trump got rid of him a short time later. Bannon was the strategist behind the Muslim ban debacle amongst other things.
Bannon has links to numerous far right individuals including Aaron Banks, Farage, and the Mercer’s. Bannon set up the ill fated and privacy busting company known as Cambridge Analytica, whose tentacles spread throughout the world selling itself as a company that could influence election results through nefarious means. Brexit is certainly to have been the subject of its attack.
This group of individual are white supremacists, who believe that the white individual is superior to any other coloured individual (I know it’s mad but bear with?) They have links to that other well known group of white supremacists - the Neo- Nazis. Indeed Bannon described people who belong to groups like the EDL and Tommy Robison as the backbone of Britain.
Video evidence has now come to the Observers attention that show close links have now been established between our own Trump - Johnson and Bannon, which shows Bannon talking about how he has helped Johnson craft his first speech after his resignation from the foreign office.
A connection that Johnson has always denied. Not that you can take any notice of what he says tbh.
What is alarming is that Bannon encouraged Johnson to introduce the appeal to the far right by using dog whistle, anti Islamic remarks, like letter boxes and bank robbers
The question, is how far down this road is Johnson prepared to go in trying to win people with this racist rhetoric? He clearly hasn’t stopped. Making people laugh is the strategy to try and win them over. His latest remark of describing May as wrapping a suicide vest around Britain is another example of this type of dog whistle rhetoric.
Interestingly Banks has hinted more than once that Johnson May invite Farage as his deputy if Johnson gets into power.
The video will be shown as part of a film later in the summer.
