And he's playing a blinder!
Has just told BJ "No No No! You will follow the questions I ask and not the ones you want to be asked!"
By the way BJ did support Darroch in principle! Who'd a thought it?

Johnson was just as bad as expected, and IMHO Hunt was as good as expected, I hope Conservative members watched this before filling in their vote!

From what I have heard a large percentage of the ballot papers have been returned and Boris is in!!!!!

paddyann Fri 12-Jul-19 20:59:04

didn't they get two papers each? One way to hedge their bets I suppose ,now they can all send in the second after watching this

Blinko Fri 12-Jul-19 21:20:33

As expected, Boris fudged, ducked and dived and tried to fillibuster. What's new?

AM wasn't going to let him get away with it though. Good for him!

I heard that Boris Johnson only agreed to the head to head and the AN interview this week because he knew that most ballot papers would have been returned by then.

Don' t forget that Andrew Neil, like so many of the BBC's political journalists, is a lifelong supporter of the conservative party.
