Trading on WTO rules will make us vassals of the WTO- and we won't even have a say r representatives. Mind you, even the Head of the WTO has warned that we cannot trade on WTO as we wish, and will have no say in tariffs. Hurrah - take back control, NOT. And do you really think Trump will give us a 'good deal' without a massive price to pay both in financial and other terms??? Honestly?

who cares grace, as long as we can make our own decisions again, like we used to do. As long as the present feel good factor persists and grows. who cares for those imaginary `what ifs`.

Craftyone, just what do you do when we make trade agreements with the rest of the world and, hopefully, the EU? Each one is a sharing of sovereignty and each one will now cost us more.

Our politics may be divisive and toxic at the moment, but I feel lucky to live in the UK rather than anywhere else in the world. Come to think of it at my age I'm happy to be alive anyway. .

Sara I wouldn’t use the word ‘superficial’. That’s diminishing really what for many of us makes life worth living at the everyday level. Some might say ‘simple’ things rather than superficial.

The sun is shining, I’m going to take some of my grandchildren to the beach, I am about to throw a flat pack DVD rack, I bought for the children into the bin, my husband warned against it, oh I can make it, I said, no chance!

oh yes, I love the uk, why I voted for independence. My future holidays will all be in the uk, this glorious set of islands and we are so lucky to live here. Course I don't hate the Scots, my in-laws and OH are highland Scots through and through, and we've had some wonderful holidays over the years at Arisaig, Fort William,Loch Morar and many lovely places north of the border.
What I do hate is the constant carping and hatred of England! It gets very tiresome, and if independence is what the Scots and anyone else wants, then the sooner the better and good luck to them! Unlike the EU we don't want to keep anyone in the UK a moment longer than they want !
