You simply don't get it, do you? The EU is a rules-based organisation who have "interpreted" their rules as far as they can to meet the Tory red lines. Presumably it will be the Queen who will by proroguing as there won’t be anyone who could command a majority, unless the Lab and Lib Dem’s form a coalition. But I think that highly unlikely.

A GE doesn’t resolve Brexit.

I bet Boris has to call a GE and if he wants to ‘get Brexit done’ he needs to talk with Farage. A combined force will get it over the line.
