Do you really thin Minniemoo that M. Puissesseau will be able to control 10s of 1000s French blockading all routes in and out of Calais- really, lol. BTW, the French still are terrified about CJD - and so are the rest of Europe. We are not even allowed to give blood here or in EU, because we lived in the UK during the CJD episode. They are quite rightly terrified about TB too- as it is not a problem in the EU. Just as Rabies still is a problem in some EU countries.

People visit the USA from Europe and elsewhere on a regular basis for a variety of reasons, so do these same people somehow avoid eating all these terrible foodstuffs including chlorinated chicken?!! I have in-laws who live in the U.S, and to my knowledge neither they or anyone they know have ever been adversely affected by anything they have eaten. Animal welfare is certainly below UK standards, but then so it is in certain countries in the EU, think factory farmed pigs in the Netherlands and Denmark! as for Eastern EU countries?!! best really not to go there!! Angora rabbits and Polish geese come to mind! As for Foi gras?!! mostly in France! enough said! I think criticism of America is just a tad hypocritical!

Good polite question, growstuff. Firstly, it depends who you listen to. Many people don't actually believe we'll be worse off. Many think we will. Any answer will not satisfy those with an opposing viewpoint.

I've not been keen on the EU. Being of Somalian descent I know how the EU has kept Africa poor. Pure and simple. See how much Germany makes out of coffee sales compared to the African countries that actually make the stuff.

I am also hugely opposed to live animal transportation. As a member of the EU we can do absolutely nothing to stop it. Out of it there is a chance.

In which case, tell us what you voted for. Not the sweeping 'we're free to do want we want statements, but the detail. Y'know, the minor things - the changes Brexit will bring to our health services, our imports, our trade agreements, our access to education. You must have some idea what these will be under Brexit, given that you felt so strongly about them that you wanted to change them.
