I thought this was a thread about the Climate Change Conference, instead it appears to have become (yet another) Harry and Meghan bashing thread.

He might also like to note that Italy and Sicily and indeed other Catholic southern European countries have declining birth rates under 2 children per couple now I believe, how very "woke", or maybe, unlike Harry and Meghan, they just can't afford any more. So maybe Prince Harry should be addressing his "limit on the number of children" speech to those demographics who are still procreating the planet out of existence.......but by video link please.

Yes Petra I agree, I've always quite liked Prince Harry but I think he does need to rein it all in somewhat, otherwise I see a chasm opening up.

TerriBull
You said it all for me. Thank you ?
I'm afraid he's been dragged into Megan's world of useless articles otherwise known as celebrities.

My own carbon footprint is probably high due to flights and I wouldn’t dream of lecturing others on saving the planet - their hypocrisy knows no bounds does it?

Not forgetting those who arrived in super yachts and all the cars to take them to the various events. You would think that as this was organised by Google someone would have known about video conferencing

Absolutely gillbob. Honestly you could make it up such a load of b*****ks woke reasoning, but then what do we know angry

gillybob Thu 01-Aug-19 08:01:11

Oh and let’s not forget Terribull that he is going to save the planet by only having 2 children. Of course the fact that these 2 children and their parents will probably have a bigger carbon footprint than 100 others is completely irrelevant .

They are all high profile hypocrites who take us all for idiots.

oops should read "on a runway somewhere in Sicily though"

TerriBull Thu 01-Aug-19 07:53:33

Isn't it marvellous that Prince Harry has sought to share his thoughts on climate change, by giving a "barefoot speech" No me neither confused in front of a load of grandstanding c'lebs worthy and notable high profile people in Sicily. As a lesser mortal I'm so grateful that these up their own backside individuals, amazingly aware and magnanimous folk are there to give us guidance on looking after our planet. I'm just wondering about the 114 private jets parked up on a runway somewhere in though Sicily shock Oh never mind minor detail!
