Stop the Coup

It is the bullies and liars on the Leave side that have been calling all the shots ever since they cheated their way to a narrow victory in the fraudulent referendum three years ago.

Most of us in this country have had enough of them and their whole corrupt brexit project. It is time it was stopped for good.

It just cannot keep being delayed as the uncertainty is not helping businesses.

Day 6 seems to think that to be regarded as "fair and reasonable" people who voted to Remain, because they could see the damage that leaving would do to our country, now have to give in to the Leave Liars and bullies. That is neither fair nor reasonable.

Giving the potential for legislation to stop no deal next week, I think that those hoping to leave with a deal really ought to welcome it as it is much more likely for a deal to go through the House if no deal is off the table as many in the ERG and hard right would like to crash out, and if no deal is gone then they will go for a deal rather than lose Brexit altogether.

If Corbyn et al manage to get through an extension on 31/10/19, all Boris has to do is use the UKs veto as an extension will need the approval of all 28 States?

The Archbishop has got himself into an illogical position.

If you set an open forum or peoples' assembly to examine a difficult question, by hearing evidence and weighing up the arguments on both sides before coming to a conclusion and making recommendations, you cannot start by telling one side that whatever happens their point of view will never be upheld.

A few days ago, the Archbishop of Canterbury was considering chairing a forum to heal divisions caused by Brexit. He doesn't seem to have grasped that telling people to stop whingeing isn't likely to heal anything.

Completely agree.

In our parliamentary democracy the people elect MPs and the MPs chose the PM, so if Corbyn or anyone else can gain the confidence of more that half of the MPs, he or she becomes PM. That would not be an unelected PM nor would it be a dictatorship.

If this were to happen in the present circumstances, the new PM would only be supported to stop no deal brexit and then call a general election. That would be perfectly acceptable.

I bet a pound to a penny those ' principled' demonstrators however feel that Corbyn et al taking over ' the Executive/Parliament' and installing a truly ' UNELECTED PRIME MINISTER' is not equally what they see as ' a coup'

They would be marching up and down the country ' calling for a coup'.
