Why are you lecturing on sustainable tourism, Harry?

Just that, really.

He knew this project launch was coming up. It's been in his diary for months so why fly in private jets knowing accusations of hypocrisy would surely follow.

Does he really care?

Anniebach Wed 04-Sept-19 17:23:21

Shame on them ,

JenniferEccles Wed 04-Sept-19 17:18:28

Even Meghan's father has said his daughter and Harry are hypocritical in lecturing the rest of us whilst flying off on private jets.

Meanwhile this man (Thomas Markle) STILL hasn't met his son in law, or been sent pictures of his baby grandson.

This pair have no right whatsoever to lecture the rest of us , when their own behaviour leaves much to be desired.

Anniebach Wed 04-Sept-19 16:34:21

I agree, Elton John is a prat

gillybob Wed 04-Sept-19 16:30:25

Carbon offsetting mainly involves a bunch of overpaid, overprivileged prats paying a company to plant a few trees in order for the to continue to enjoy flying around the world in private jets . Makes them feel better I think .

The Royals start getting a bad name again. Poor Harry so much liked before, then comes the wifey. Watch out, WE are a fickle bunch.

nanou Wed 04-Sept-19 16:23:03

Come on Harry you know better surely and we also know better!

merlotgran Wed 04-Sept-19 16:19:43

I would still like to know more about carbon offsetting. It's sounds like a cop out because we don't know what the heck he's talking about.

I'm just about to drive to the village in my 4x4 so will dragging the recycling bin round the front for collection tomorrow do it?

Framilode Wed 04-Sept-19 16:14:26

Why didn't he get the Eurostar to Amsterdam, or is that no safe also?

merlotgran Wed 04-Sept-19 16:06:46

I feel a bit sorry for the Royal correspondents who have to somehow put a positive spin on it all. Nicholas Witchell had a sound of weary resignation about him yesterday. He's not popular with Prince Charles as we know but he has a job to do.

I wonder what Jenny Bond would have made of it.

Anniebach Wed 04-Sept-19 15:39:37

Can it be his wife didn’t know being married to a minor royal
didn’t make her a future queen consort

MissAdventure Wed 04-Sept-19 15:28:13

Surely he must have advisors, publicists, or whatever royals have?

He really doesn't know when to pipe down.

eazybee Wed 04-Sept-19 15:25:29

We all knew Harry was a half-wit, but he was pleasant, amiable and anxious to be seen to be Doing Something To Help, ie Invictus Games.

But there is no reason why his family has more entitlement to a safe life than any other family, and he would be well advised to stop trying to lecture those less privileged than he about matters which he clearly doesn't understand.

Anniebach Wed 04-Sept-19 15:23:44

Current bunch ? two people are a bunch ?

gillybob Wed 04-Sept-19 15:20:44

I think its too late for that now Alexa. Even the most faithful royalists are having their eyes opened to this current bunch of over-privileged, hypocritical, scroungers.

Oh yes Daisymae one rule for them and another for us plebs !

Daisymae Wed 04-Sept-19 15:17:01

The royals know what's best for the rest of us as we are mere mortals, obviously they have different rules.

Alexa Wed 04-Sept-19 14:13:42

The Windsor firm has to change its image if it does not want to be viewed as a lot of silly over privileged aristocrats.

The ceremonial horses and carriages are one thing but private jollies are another.

Alima Wed 04-Sept-19 12:49:56

I don’t think he does care now even if he did before. Appears to have changed for the worse since he met his wife. Beginning to think I wish they would go off to Africa/LA wherever and stop their lecturing. Bye Harry, enjoy the rest of your private life privately.

henetha Wed 04-Sept-19 12:33:42

Even as a Monarchist, I can see Harry is being silly. I like him though, or used to. I really think he should get a job.

gillybob Wed 04-Sept-19 12:12:31

When you are in a hole, stop digging Harry. You are a fibber and a hypocrite.

Anniebach Tue 03-Sept-19 17:54:31

He has never had to be a tourist

pinkquartz Tue 03-Sept-19 17:16:23

He really doesn't have a clue about ordinary people in this country.

He must be emotionally thick to not understand why he is getting all the negative reactions.

He is so privileged and we are so not. He can't see the gaping chasm between the way the poor in the UK live and home and his circle can he?

I am happy to see the end of the RF as it is and looks like he might well finish it off, as all we see is a rich man telling off the poor. He is no leading example and also it is his rich friends that need the lecture. If he was actually changing something it would be different.

his greedy materialistic wife is the icing on the cake. She never seem to have enough of al things expensive.
And it is cruel that she will not let her father see his grandson. Very cruel.

SueDonim Tue 03-Sept-19 16:44:13

I agree, Anniebach. He's bitten off more than he can chew. sad

merlotgran Tue 03-Sept-19 16:41:37

Apparently, in order to improve their public image, Meghan has appointed top PR firm, Sunshine Sachs who once represented Harvey Weinstein and Michael Jackson. grin

My first piece of advice would be, 'When you're in a hole, stop digging!'

Shouldn't they be representing Uncle Andy? grin

Gonegirl Tue 03-Sept-19 14:39:39

Tone your lifestyle down a bit Harry. No one needs all this trips. Or all that luxury.

Gonegirl Tue 03-Sept-19 14:36:53

Good to know the criticism is getting through to him.
