Corbyn the cowardly chicken been asking for a General election for months now frightened when he's offered one. Hyprocrite.

@Femi_Sorry

Feel free to tell those calling for an election: "We already voted"

Remind them that in 2017 the majority chose anti-no-deal parties yet our broken electoral system gave pro-no-deal parties a majority.

If you want a precise answer on Brexit, ask a precise question.

Don’t be silly firecracker I think what Corbyn is doing is exactly what I’d hoped he would do. I would have been furious if they had accepted a GE and was so pleased they came to the decision not to go for such a disruptive futile exercise.

Perhaps You could elevate this to a more adult discussion?

I see 3 distinguished cross party lawyers are going to fight Johnson in Court.

Dominic Grieves, Keir Starmer, And Joanna Cherry, very impressive dream team!

Obviously Corbyn the Chicken ? has hit a nerve with some Remainers, perhaps the truth hurts ?

If Corbyn rejects a General election today expect more jokes in the media about him. Has any opposition leader ever rejected a general election when offered.

Firecracker123 Mon 09-Sept-19 09:54:40

Seems some people are easily upset ?

My advice would be to stay off the threads that upset your obviously delicate disposition. Or is that too simple for you to comprehend.

mcem

No chance. Insult is the order of the day

Just because some idiot posts puerile rubbish somewhere on the net, you are not obliged to inflict that rubbish on Gransnetters!
Grow up or find somewhere else to play your childish games!
Or - revolutionary thought - form and express your own opinions from an informed viewpoint.
(And they wonder why the intelligence of some leavers is questioned.)

Another vote today. I am confidant that Johnson will suffer another defeat. It would be a disaster if there was a vote for a GE.

That will be in tradition with 100% vote lose since becoming PM

Once this period has been passed and we can be confident that Johnson has been defeated and a no deal prevented, we can then see if Johnson has in fact been negotiating a deal of any sort.

Of course he hasn’t - he is lying.

Giving him enough rope will mean he will hang himself.

Clever politics and intelligent decisions.

Ha ha ha are you serious, just getting started wink

absthame Sun 08-Sept-19 01:47:03

Ladies although I have no time for Corbyn even I find your comments over the top and obnoxious. Please tone it down

Firecracker123 Fri 06-Sept-19 16:00:37

Lol probably very slimy and leaves a nasty after taste in your mouth. ?

grin grin lemongrove and Firecracker123

lemongrove Fri 06-Sept-19 15:53:50

Looks very unappetisingly to me?
Does it contain nuts as well? Or just sharp policies which stick in the throat?

Firecracker123 Fri 06-Sept-19 15:48:56

More Corbyn ? ?

humptydumpty Fri 06-Sept-19 15:09:15

Quite frankly at the moment I don't care, my main wish is to avoid a no deal Brexit.

Urmstongran Fri 06-Sept-19 15:07:50

Corbyn is unelectable. His personal polling is such that you are more likely to be PM than he is.

growstuff Fri 06-Sept-19 14:56:42

What happened to "undemocratic backstop"? It seems to have been replaced by "no more dither and delay" on the Brexit bingo card.

humptydumpty Fri 06-Sept-19 14:48:32

Wrong Firecracker, he's opposing a GE for the same reason as the other opposition parties, to thwart BJ from leaving with no deal. What's not to like?

Shoequeen53 Fri 06-Sept-19 14:33:11

WadesNan, I responded to your post in the second paragraph of mine.

growstuff Fri 06-Sept-19 14:20:40

It doesn't mean he's not on top of his game, whatever your opinion of him.

Firecracker123 Fri 06-Sept-19 14:13:55

No Corbyn is frightened of a general election he knows he will be wiped out in the North and Midlands if not by Boris then the Brexit Party.

He is an odious man and a hyprocrite.

growstuff Fri 06-Sept-19 12:11:25

Tories play games and Labour is catching up.

Dinahmo Fri 06-Sept-19 12:09:16

Just because they don't like Johnson, doesn't mean that they don't like the Tories, sadly IMO.
