Johnson insists on calling it the "surrender act". He really has no decency or moderation whatsoever. No basic standards. Every political choice he makes appears to be the most venal, most divisive, most irresponsible.

Desperate stuff. Boris Johnson truly is a disgrace to the office of Prime Minister. Thinks he can trick us into a cut and run vote so he can push through No Deal #Brexit - I and so many other

MPs will not be falling for this blatant con.

We’re in dangerous territory. This isn’t a normal Prime Ministerial statement. Our constitution is being trashed, laws broken and a toxic mix of misleading, nationalist, right wing populism is being whipped up. I hope sense prevails soon, for the sake of the whole country.

not a single answer- just attack, deride, mock, any opposition. Such a cheap but entirely expected pathetic tactic- as you say, Cummings.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 19:09:23

hand

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 19:08:52

What a tirade from Johnson. This has Cummings had all over it.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:56:12

Can’t keep it in his trousers can he?

Misuse of public funds

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:53:55

Yellowhammer is damning.

Ginny42 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:53:36

Jura2 I felt as though we were watching a heart attack about to happen. How vulgar to lose your cool like that with the world watching. He was hoping to humiliate the benches opposite, but he made an utter fool of himself.

Ginny42 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:47:39

I think it was originally said about IDS, or was it Osborne, but Cummings has 'something of the night about him'.

jura2 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:46:21

Cox's bahaviour and language, was utterly shameful to day. Cowards, turkeys, chickens, 'dead' even- not a single sigh of apology or humility. Utterly shameful and disgusting.

Ginny42 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:45:34

Carrie might throw him out of No 10. More similarities with Trump than we knew.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:43:17

Cummings hand all over that speech

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 18:42:13

Johnson trying desperately to pitch himself as the people’s champion.

Well good luck with that.

The opposition isn’t going to play his game there will be no election until the opposition have shown Johnson up for the fraud he is

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Sep-19 17:24:22

Where is Johnson? He was due to speak at 4pm.

I reckon he’s having a row with Carrie over Jennifer.

Expect the police to dash into No 10 soon.

Apparently Johnson was going round to the blonde American’s flat in the afternoons for “technology lessons”. He then awarded her company £££££s of taxpayers money. This one will run and run.

TWO days ago automotive lobby chief Hawes said in a press release: "A ‘no deal’ Brexit would have an immediate and devastating impact on the industry, undermining competitiveness and causing irreversible and severe damage... risks destroying this vital pillar of our economies.”

But the government is still lying

Even just seeing the brooch on her shoulder gives me the creeps!

Urmstongran Wed 25-Sep-19 15:46:38

Ooh GG13 you were ahead of the curve! What a beautiful brooch.

GracesGranMK3 Wed 25-Sep-19 15:28:32

In another photograph, she had a large caterpillar.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 25-Sep-19 15:04:45

I have always worn it with pride ???

jura2 Wed 25-Sep-19 15:01:57

will you now wear it with re-newed pride then ?

GrannyGravy13 Wed 25-Sep-19 14:54:27

Urmstongran & Lemongrove I have had my very own spider brooch for many years, it was what they nowadays call a “push present”.

growstuff Wed 25-Sep-19 14:50:09

Oh yes he can Whitewave. There's no way he should be allowed to crawl away and escape accountability.

growstuff Wed 25-Sep-19 14:47:35

Just posted about him on another thread (didn't realise this one was here). I agree with the comments above. He was like a pantomime character or headmaster of a third rate Victorian boarding school. I hadn't really heard of Barry Sheerman, but he had the edge on Cox.

How dare the government disregard the law and try to set Parliament against the people? The government couldn't give a monkey's about the people of this country.
