Boris getting tough with EU

I think parliament will now refuse to have a GE. Boris will have to send letter requesting extension but will refuse to negotiate further with EU. I just hope we can have a GE.

I voted Leave. It was on the ballot paper.

It gets more intransigent now, on both sides. I think it’s crunch time. A government source has said just now:

'They think now that if there is another delay we will keep coming back with new proposals,' the source told the Spectator. 'This won't happen. We'll either leave with No Deal on 31 October or there will be an election and then we will leave with No Deal.'

I suppose Labour and Lib Dems won't allow a GE now.

Quite right gallusquine but that reassurance was given in good faith by David Cameron who in turn was so shocked by the referendum vote going against what he believed would be the outcome, that he walked away (humming to himself).

Even though I wanted to leave with a deal now I think no deal is inevitable. The Remainer vote is split in a GE. By having in manifesto to leave with no deal the leavers vote will not be split. Plus Labour policy is just so daft e.g. only working for 4 days each week, lowering rate of inheritance we can't give more than £125k to each child during their life time, high tax for those with gardens, forcing btl owners to sell their houses to renters at well under market value and nationalising all utilities and Post Office so forcing shareholders to sell their shares at below market prices.

newnanny the Project Fear campaign told Scottish voters that the only way to guarantee staying in the EU was to vote no to Scottish Independence a blatant lies amongst other lies.

I thought NI and Scotland were part of the United Kingdom. What right have the EU got to snatch them from the UK. The Scottish people voted to stay in the UK did they not?
Really, after the way the EU has treated us over Brexit I can't believe anybody would want to stay. The sooner we go the better. Personally I think that more countries will follow after we leave.

I actually think Boris was sincere in trying to get a deal with EU that was fair to all. He was sabotaged by parliament Remainers who did not give him a fair chance to negotiate because they thought he wanted no deal when he did in fact want a deal. If no deal was still on the table EU would be less obtuse.

Well in his imagination there is a "queue" of people waiting to do deals with the UK. In reality there are already plans afoot to remove manufacturing from this country Nissan would go for a start. Still I suppose Boris is doing what he is best at, pretending to be a strong man when really he's a cheating coniving S***.
There is something ironic about the fact that we are still embroiled in the Irish question 600 years after Henry VIII thought he'd nailed it.

it was never down to the EU ....Boris is the one who wants to leave,He can do it under the rules or he can walkaway.Whatever he decides he will be liable for all the things we signed up ofr so the bill WILL be massive .The EU is RIGHTLY looking out ofr NI .Something it took "Britain" hundreds of years to get around to with the peace process.Any Irish people I know want to sty IN the EU like Scotland why should they be dragged out? Its time England left the EU and the rest of us who dont want to go stay in.....its logical.
