Just that really.

Gina Miller will be advising the best way and who to vote for.

I’ll post it as it comes into notice.

Fair comment gfp but at least I don’t resort to mean comments.

Hysterical.
A six year old.
‘Go on, I’ll indulge you’

Jeez.

Thank you for ‘getting it’ GG13 and craftyone!

SirChenjin Fri 01-Nov-19 10:01:16

Not quite so impotent iirc.

grapefruitpip Fri 01-Nov-19 10:00:40

being targeted

That sounds very serious, better report it.

grapefruitpip Fri 01-Nov-19 09:59:34

if you want sheep, look at Farage's racist supporters.

Actually sheep have more intelligence.

craftyone Fri 01-Nov-19 09:53:24

yes gina bloody miller and her flock of impotent sheep

Fiachna50 Fri 01-Nov-19 09:51:04

I won't be tactically voting and certainly not bothered about Gina Miller. Mine will probably be a protest vote as none of these politicians are fit for the job.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 01-Nov-19 09:50:37

Urmstongran Unfortunately it is the people who voted leave and who do not support Corbyn or Swinson who are being targeted with rude posts.

It is happening on every political thread I can only assume having seen the latest opinion polls which put The Conservatives/Boris Johnson on 41% they are beginning to panic

grapefruitpip Fri 01-Nov-19 09:35:21

Gina bloody Millar ....give it a rest.

This from a fan of Johnson, Farage and Trump.

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 09:33:07

If I’m ‘obsessed ‘ by Brexit - as you put it - it’s because on this thread I said it’s the most important aspect of the impending GE.

Don’t tell me Gina Millar is proposing tactical voting because of any other issue!

SirChenjin Fri 01-Nov-19 09:23:00

I can’t comment on the 6 year old claim but yes, I stand by the hysterical. Read back through your posts - you sound absolutely obsessed with Brexit to the detriment of everything else. It’s really not healthy.

I’ll ask again. Are you extending that glee to all the excellent, committed, long standing, politicians who have decided to step down or just the remain ones?

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 09:13:49

Hysterical?
A 6 year old?

What put downs to someone who just wants to contribute to a friendly debate.

So you’ll indulge me? How patronising!

No wonder a lot of GN’s ‘lurk’ but don’t post.
?

SirChenjin Fri 01-Nov-19 09:05:08

You're started to sound a bit hysterical Urm.

I'll indulge you. Does that apply to all the politicians who have decided to step down, or just the remain ones?

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 09:00:25

I'm interested in your claim that these politicians have implied the British public are bullies. Can you elaborate Urm?

Certainly, Sjc

I think pretty much everyone is aware those MP’s have had personal attacks (verbal) from the British public. I wonder why? Have you an igloo?

They now want to stand down. Their viewpoints won’t wash in a GE. They know the game is up.

It’s one thing pontificating in the HoC.

Quite another to explain yourself to your constituents! They jumped. Before they were pushed.

SirChenjin Fri 01-Nov-19 08:57:13

Long overdue in what way?

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 08:55:54

Ken Clarke deserves his retirement. It’s long overdue.
I was smiling for him, yes.

SirChenjin Fri 01-Nov-19 08:50:40

Cummings & Co aren't anti-establishment. What they hate is that they aren't members of a particular clique and want to start their own clique. Farage is the same, except he's in a different clique. Cummings and Farage hate each other. Take a step back and it's like the Medieval aristocracy fighting each other and tossing out goodies to boost the numbers of foot soldiers

Yehbutnobut Fri 01-Nov-19 08:46:53

You were smiling because Ken Clarke is no longer standing?

Yehbutnobut Fri 01-Nov-19 08:44:39

I am in a marginal seat, until 2017 it was Conservative but a very good Labour man got in at that last election. I’m hoping he will be returned with an increased majority.

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 08:08:40

Who has implied that the British public are bullies?

MP’s like Heidi Allen, Anna Soubry (the tough old boot), Antoinette Sandbach, Jess Phillips, Yvette Cooper to name a few.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only one smiling broadly yesterday whilst reading through the
list of MPs who are no longer standing!

growstuff Fri 01-Nov-19 07:58:01

Do you mean people like Iain Duncan Smith, whose constituency voted to remain in the EU?

growstuff Fri 01-Nov-19 07:56:18

Who has implied that the British public are bullies? confused

growstuff Fri 01-Nov-19 07:55:16

That went through my mind too SirChenjin. I'm baffled by the genius who managed to persuade people who the establishment are. Johnson is the archetypal representative of the establishment. He was at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge yesterday for a PR stunt. Unfortunately for him, it went wrong and the public and staff started booing him as he left. I'm guessing his minders will keep him away from the plebs from now on. He and his government are the ones who don't have a clue and seem to be treating everything like a huge game.

Cummings & Co aren't anti-establishment. What they hate is that they aren't members of a particular clique and want to start their own clique. Farage is the same, except he's in a different clique. Cummings and Farage hate each other. Take a step back and it's like the Medieval aristocracy fighting each other and tossing out goodies to boost the numbers of foot soldiers.

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 07:53:27

That’s one way of looking at it Scj

I view the situation differently (of course)! I’ll be glad to see the back of some of these duplicitous MP’s. Their implication that the British public, which has patiently and peacefully endured three years of their nonsense, are loathsome bullies, is fooling nobody.

Bring out the ballot box!

SirChenjin Fri 01-Nov-19 07:42:01

I know - those old Etonians and other top public schoolboys and girls, the last bastion of the very worst of the establishment, haven’t got a clue, have they.

Urmstongran Fri 01-Nov-19 07:14:42

This election will be such a shocker for the establishment because MPs cannot grasp how out of sync they are with the country.
