That orange, narcissistic, bloody awful man!

Giving his opinion on how and who we should vote for!

Keep your damn opinions to yourself, Donald!

peonyrose if you can't recognise a post (and I mean post, not thread) that is meant to be humorous/tongue in cheek, then heaven help us all!

Sigh.

And now I can’t get this out of my mind so I’ll share it. You’re welcome

And here’s Nigel being righteously indignant ??????

suziewoozie Fri 01-Nov-19 18:33:16

It’s been hard today to avoid clips of the love-in - I just can’t get the image of the drooling Farage out of my mind.

suziewoozie Fri 01-Nov-19 18:31:48

Nice point crystal

crystaltipps Fri 01-Nov-19 18:26:04

So how come Farage criticised Obama for interfering in U.K. politics but it’s OK for Trump? Hypocrites the lot of them.

suziewoozie Fri 01-Nov-19 18:20:17

Anyway as others have said, it’s all backfiring - loving the own goal. Nigel won’t even say if he’s standing - he’s their ( unelected self appointed) leader who clearly must follow his supporters. Sweet

suziewoozie Fri 01-Nov-19 18:16:16

Yes Obama made a comment during the referendum. I don’t remember a half hour love in on national radio where he praised certain politicians and rubbished others by name, nor told lies - perhaps you could provide the link Sparkle? TIA

Sparklefizz Fri 01-Nov-19 17:59:31

Obama has put in his two penn'orth in the past, too.

As Ken Clarke makes clear here

Again, thinking about the decent, intelligent Conservatives we know, relatives and friends - Trump wading in will do Boris a lot of damage- just as his proposed alliance with Farage. It will backfire, big time.

Labaik Fri 01-Nov-19 16:41:29

I saw a programme about the homeless in LA; one lovely, eloquent lady has lived under a bridge for a long time. She had more intelligence in her little finger than your president has in his gross, orange body. At least we can console ourselves that both of our countries seem to be up the creek without a paddle....flowers ps keep safe...

gmarie Fri 01-Nov-19 08:51:57

Yehbutnobut, yes, and by a margin of several millions, too!

Yehbutnobut Fri 01-Nov-19 08:51:45

Grandad they are peas in a pod. Both are thick as thieves and simply thick.

gmarie Fri 01-Nov-19 08:49:20

Ginny42 I hope your family is OK. flowers Are they in the northern or southern part of the state?
suziewoozie: rambling piece of disconnected, ill informed, lying rubbish with the vocabulary of a not very bright three year old Well said! I watch the late night comedians (Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, etc.) who often play snippets of him speaking before exposing his lies, or ignorance, or outrageous pomposity, or whatever. Having already read the papers, I always mute the screen and hold my hand up to avoid seeing his face or hearing his inane comments during those moments. grin.

Yehbutnobut Fri 01-Nov-19 08:48:50

gmarie we know that more people actually voted for Hilary Clinton than for Trump but because of the system he won.

Grandad1943 Fri 01-Nov-19 07:57:11

suziewoozie why no call it as it actually is. ?

Great stuff, keep it up.

GracesGranMK3 Fri 01-Nov-19 07:56:52

The BBC are absolutely loving it and stopped any pretence at fact finding when talking to a Labour shadow minister. Appalling.

suziewoozie Fri 01-Nov-19 07:52:45

It wasn’t an ‘interview’ - it was a rambling piece of disconnected, ill informed, lying rubbish with the vocabulary of a not very bright three year old. You could easily visualise the drool emanating from Nigel’s gurning adoring, mouth. An endorsements from a soon to be impeached , lying, sexist, pussy grabbing sorry piece of shit - it’s a badge of honour not to be thought well of by him.

Ginny42 Fri 01-Nov-19 07:35:04

gmarie I too am watching the wild fires in CA as I have family there.

That was a strange Republican ad during the World Series game last night in which they acknowledge Trump does things they don't like.

Surely if Trump thinks Johnson is a 'terrific guy' that's damning praise. To criticise Corbyn as bad, bad, bad, (3 times he said that) and that he would take us to a 'bad place' is clearly interfering with another country's politics and wrong. Puerile language, but some people are influenced by stuff like that.

Grandad1943 Fri 01-Nov-19 07:19:12

Well, it would seem that Downing Street is now having to defend Johnsons withdrawal agreement after Trump stated that if ratified it may make it impossible for a trade deal to be struck with the United States.

After Johnson's big selling point being, Britain would be able to sign trade deals with ALL countries throughout the world, Trump's comment is "somewhat unhelpful."

Of course, Johnsons best friend is supposed to be Trump we are told. However, with friends like that Johnson does not need enemies or any other political opponents. ??

gmarie Fri 01-Nov-19 06:51:50

Point is, craftyone, he has no business offering opinions on another country's political issues, especially not with regard to our allies. He should be a little more concerned about what is going on here in the US and tempering his partisan vitriol on Twitter and at his rallies. The fact that he's told over 14,000 lies (at last count) makes him that LAST person any other country's leaders should listen to.

Loislovesstewie, thank you for your kind words about us here in California. So many have lost homes, belongings, animals, and even their lives. sad

Loislovesstewie Fri 01-Nov-19 06:34:05

gmarie, No need to apologise , we know that many in the USA are also very concerned about him. And we feel sorry for the people in California and the awful recent events in respect of the wildfires.

craftyone Fri 01-Nov-19 06:25:25

nice gentle interview, it is on lbc all day. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Perhaps listen to it before being judgemental

gmarie Fri 01-Nov-19 05:57:32

Again, SO sorry about our awful president. There was a vote in congress today re/ whether to formalize the impeachment inquiry and NOT A SINGLE REPUBLICAN voted for it!!! I become more distressed by the day and worry if anything will ever get better... Meanwhile, my state of California is as dry as a bone and constantly on fire. confused angry
