Urm have you seen the latest tweet from Hancock re JC? No fair minded person could take it seriously but obviously it’s to deflect from todays A and E figures.

Unfortunately I regard Hancock as a bit of a lightweight suziewoozie so I’m sure you’re right - I haven’t seen his comments yet.

Urm lightweight is somewhat kind. I just find it unacceptable if really unfair criticisms are traded. Heaven knows there’s plenty of perfectly fair valid criticism to be made across the board so why the desperation?

I think there are hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people, many of them young who are disengaged and disenfranchised. History tells us , this is a dangerous state of affairs.

nannypink1 I' m no Corbyn fan but a Labour government has to be a better thing for our country than one in which our public services continue to be demolished, privatised and ruined. We're heading to be like the USA, where social services have to fund raise to safeguard children. Where any medical treatment means huge bills

How dramatic!! We are actually looking at a Labour party which is more democratic that it ever has been which is seeking to implement socialist policies, invest in the NHS and develop genuine publicly owned services. Nothing unknown about anything.

Just watched Corbyn on Andrew Marr, thought he did very well. He seemed to have an answer to every question and was very calm.

The LibDems have every right to criticise Corbyn, Johnson, Farage and all other dreadful brexiter politicians We are in an election campaign.

This certainly does not make the Libdems a "nasty party", only the strongest party for Remain. To point out Corbyn's evasiveness and weakness in answering questions on brexit is fair comment.

Yes, Jeremy Corbyn did have contact with Jerry Adams and Martin McGuinness throughout the times of the near 30-year war in Northern Ireland.

However, Tony Blair used those same contacts with Jerry Adams and Martin McGuinness along with Ian Paisley to bring about the Good Friday Agreement which brought that war to an end.

Also in regard to Corbyn being antisemitic, there is an ongoing inquiry being carried out in the Labour party and members have been expelled

With that in mind, can anyone inform me of what has happened to the Johnson promised inquiry into Islamophobia in the Tory Party?

It seems that several high ranking council members were expelled for extream islamophobic tweets and posts they made, but they were all readmitted to the party within days.

Some justice, some inquiry.

Jo Swinson must have been listening to a different interview. I heard someone who knows immigration is necessary to this country to fill skilled vacancies, someone concerned about the present policies which prevent people working here bringing their families, someone concerned as well for the British living abroad. As for Brexit he wants to repair the split in our society by giving another referendum with strict controls about the information given. He wants us to trade with the EU knows there will be a cost involved but the amount has not been discussed or decided.
But Jo Swinson's attack shows how scared she is.

Sorry, varian, the stuff on twitter coming from the Lib Dems about the LP is pure bile and makes me wonder why they aren't attacking the tories so viciously.

I say this as a long time Lib Dem voter who thought she was a centrist...

I suspect it’s because Brexiters will vote Tory but Remainers will be split between Labour and Lib Dem’s?
