Misleading information - here we go!

1984 is upon us.

80% of newspaper readers read newspapers which are strongly pro brexit as leaving the EU suits the agenda of their tax dodging billionaire proprietors.

That was found to be the most significant factor influencing the result of the fraudulent referendum and it means that these readers will be very likely to vote for the Brexit or Conservative parties.

The Tories get away with it because that is the biased line that most of the newspapers support, so it never really gets challenged.
Readers believe what they read if they see it often enough.
The opposition is so inept with so few credible speakers they make very little impact

Could somebody please explain
a) why is the Conservative party allowed to get away with this sort of thing and
b) why are people still supporting them?
Why doesn’t honesty matter anymore?

that was truly appalling. Glad Piers Morgan (whom I can't stand)- actually did challenge the Conservative Party about this terrible misuse of the inteview with Keir.
