Ecological (environment) crisis is changing all that old time attitude. We now know for a fact we men are not lords of creation.

A friend passed the following quote to me. I think it describes Johnson very well.

"But man proud man. Dressed in a little brief authority, most ignorant of what he is most assured. His essence like an angry ape plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven as make the angels weep."

Any other suggestions?
