Everyone should listen to this radio programme, which deals mostly with misinformation and disinformation in science and the way it is disseminated on the internet, both by extreme groups and bots. It ends with a warning-

"This new age of viral disinformation lends itself to destroying our democracies"

Certainly it is not just science that is attacked by viral misinformation and disinformation.
