Who knew?

Yes, I did hear about it last year, though my DH didn’t know until I mentioned it the other day. My diary has the Monday as the bank holiday, but I’ve changed it. The calendar shows the correct date. I think it might cause some confusion too if reminders aren’t broadcast again soon.

I knew about this because there was a couple who were in the press moaning about it. Few months ago now

I had heard something about that. But I did not take much notice.

I knew early last year, I remember it being on the news and in newspapers.

My diary shows the Bank Holiday as Monday 4th May. I had to cross it out and write it on Friday. I think there will be a lot of confused people in May.

Yes, all the time -Radio 4- and I had not heard that.

What with this and the Spring Bank Holiday falling as early as is possible, on 25 May, May is looking a bit odd.

My diary had a sticky thing in it too. I wouldn't have known otherwise although DH would probably have mentioned it. He likes to think he knows everything!

Oh well, DD will be pleased, she teaches part time and works on Fridays. Usually she misses out on any BH Mondays as they are mostly included in half terms etc or else not a working day for her!

Millions of calendars and diaries had to be reprinted, which is why I was able to buy an unchanged one at a bargain price.

I did. There was a sticky label on my 2020 diary. It's to coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
