I am disgusted by the announcement that these two have sacked 15 British members of staff. What are they thinking?
I ask myself 'how would I feel if I'd upped sticks and gone to another country out of loyalty to my employer, only for them to get rid of me 3 months later.
I would be heartbroken and furious.

I'd forgotten about that, she really went through it didn't she and didn't Zara, Princess Anne's D have a miscarriage?

Anniebach Mon 09-Mar-20 20:13:37

Haven’t heard the press are at Heathrow to film Harry and
Megan leaving for Canada, perhaps their flight has been cancelled!

Anniebach Mon 09-Mar-20 20:11:19

Sophie Wessex always wears lovely clothes, it’s so wrong all
the work she does for charities here and in other countries is
never mentioned. She should have written on bananas and
after suffering an ectopic pregnancy then a prem birth when
she nearly lost her life told the world no one asked if she was ok.

Details, Dahling, details...
The Devil is in the detail. wink

Megs looked awfully like Simpson, today..

DH said exactly the same thing.

ananimous Mon 09-Mar-20 20:03:17

..and Megxit was spot on with the travel ban idea - if only we had listened instead of dismissing it as the rantings of an entitled twit...

merlotgran Mon 09-Mar-20 20:02:13

Sophie Wessex did look lovely and I think as she and Edward are comfortable with their place in the pecking order they always look relaxed.

ananimous Mon 09-Mar-20 20:00:48

We shall all miss the beautifully hand written banana notelets...

MawB Mon 09-Mar-20 19:59:07

I was responding to this point you made Jura

What is important, is how Harry and Megan relate to youngsters- how they inspire them

And like others I was asking , “How?”

Chewbacca Mon 09-Mar-20 19:58:19

So did I Maw, very sophisticated. But I've never been fond of lurid green.

ananimous Mon 09-Mar-20 19:58:06

hmm

MawB Mon 09-Mar-20 19:56:11

I thought Sophie Wessex looked lovely

Greymar Mon 09-Mar-20 19:54:58

I wonder who will be next for a GN mauling?

Chewbacca Mon 09-Mar-20 19:37:04

<Whispers quietly> I didn't like Meghan's green outfit today. I thought she'd looked nicer in other outfits than that one. <sneaks back out>

Anniebach Mon 09-Mar-20 19:33:40

If it does it may be claimed as proof of the popularity of
Harry and Megan.

Wonder what time their flight is

lemongrove Mon 09-Mar-20 19:30:54

Looks like this thread is on course to make 1,000 posts.?

lemongrove Mon 09-Mar-20 19:29:58

It’s our own opinion Summer .....no need to make a meal out of it.

lemongrove Mon 09-Mar-20 19:28:55

...but are you arrogant enough to say that it is the case?
grin

Anniebach Mon 09-Mar-20 19:28:42

I don’t know but Jura does , she said so.

GracesGranMK3 Mon 09-Mar-20 19:26:57

Suppose we will have to guess Anniebach Mon 09-Mar-20 19:19:20

Or you could simply accept that you don't know. That would be a novelty on this thread.

Summerlove Mon 09-Mar-20 19:24:17

I haven’t
But I wouldn’t be so Arrogant to say that that isn’t the case just because I haven’t seen it.

Anniebach Mon 09-Mar-20 19:19:20

Suppose we will have to guess

maddyone Mon 09-Mar-20 19:18:05

Absolutely. The children are happy to get out of school.

Calendargirl Mon 09-Mar-20 19:17:05

In answer to jura2

No, my DS and GC were at work and school, they didn’t watch the service. But if they had been at home, no way would they have watched it. They are not remotely interested in the Royal Family or in any religious services.
However, I AM interested and enjoy seeing what the RF are doing and the services they attend.
Am pretty sure the next two generations on the whole are not.
