The audience of QT has always been packed with brexiters, some of whom are racists, but this week they sunk to a new low by posting a vile video of a racist rant online.

You laughingly bully this woman BBC QT has wrung out to dry.. Yet, she at least sees the woeful under funding of all our systems. I think THAT was her point.

I voted remain... but am a Leaver since I realised the playbook going on.

You would have to be very shielded in comfort to miss the decades of underfunding versus unlimited cheap labour who need housing, schools, hospitals.

Tell me where these well funded schools are??
Tell me where there's plenty of housing?
We are adding housing to flood plains right now.

Stop whining at folk, if you have the debate - bring it to the table.
To browbeat opining incessantly must be awfully mentally draining.
She is typical of our broken education sytem - lacks the vocabulary to debate. Not her fault.
Proof positive our resources have been stretched for decades (under EU's watch) like a tarts knicker elastic.

She hung herself out to dry - she’s a professional right wing poster girl who somehow (???) wangled herself into the audience.

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 14:22:08

So she edited that clip, not the BBC, and put it out there?
hmm
Here's a sandwich.

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 14:22:56

For the great EU picnic

suziewoozie Sat 22-Feb-20 14:26:54

Best not to bother methinks

MaizieD Sat 22-Feb-20 14:41:14

I wouldn't bother to feed it, suziewoozie..

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 14:55:42

Feed Suzie, she's hangry

Greymar Sat 22-Feb-20 15:37:17

Is the thinking here that there are too many people in the UK so we must not let any more in? Is that the gist?

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 15:54:00

There's no thinking here...

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 15:54:38

Pitch forks only zone...

Callistemon Sat 22-Feb-20 16:20:20

I'll play Devil's advocate here and suggest that if the BBC is biased, as alleged, they would not have invited Ash Sarkar to be on the panel.

somehow wangled herself into the audience
And that woman could have said anything in her application to be on QT - do they do background checks?

paddyanne Sat 22-Feb-20 16:44:18

they ask what party you voted for.My friend applied 3 times for a seat the first twice she told the truth SNP ,she didn't get on.The third time after speaking to someone else who had been in the same situation she told them she voted tory .She got a seat in Dundee ...the least tory seat in the country. Its obvious they fiddle who goes on,you rarely hear a Scottish accent when its in Scotland .Of course that could be because they get complains about people down sarth not understanding whats being said. That in its own way iS prejudice or a type of racism After all we have to cope with cockneys and Brummies and Mancunians and even worse accents and I cant remember anyone I know complaining about not understanding

Callistemon Sat 22-Feb-20 16:49:46

Well, there you are.
Anyone can say anything when they apply.

even worse accents oooh!! Like where?

Actually I have been out with Scottish friends over the last couple of days , all from different areas and all different accents.
I keep saying the same about "the Welsh accent" on another thread but everyone assumes Richard Burton.

suziewoozie Sat 22-Feb-20 17:08:20

Call some of us think that she was deliberately invited on precisely because of her views. This was no accident or happenstance or coincidence. I also believe that Fiona wears special contact lenses that detect an otherwise invisible flashing arrow that points to the selected few that are allowed 80 sec uninterrupted racist ignorant rants.?

Callistemon Sat 22-Feb-20 17:15:26

So do you think that Ash and that woman (don't know her name) were both on so try to liven up proceedings?
Are ratings falling?

suziewoozie Sat 22-Feb-20 17:30:02

I think Ash (of whom I’m no fan ) is on quite often. I don’t think FB is up to the role ( Antiques Roadshow and Fake or Fortune are her forte). I think what’s happened to QT is a real pity - it’s now neither one thing nor the other. It wants post show controversy and thinks that’s a proxy for quality. It ain’t.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 22-Feb-20 17:45:26

I totally agree with you suziewoozie!

jura2 Sat 22-Feb-20 17:50:01

She was clearly a plant- but she did some good. The vast majority of the audience were aghast and shocked by a rant and stupidity- and the vast majority of the country too.

We all know the things she complained about are the results of this disastrous Tory Government for past 10 years- and nought to do with the EU. I hope that she, Farage, Yaxley-Lemon and their supporters have no-one to care for them in a few years- the can rot in their own poo.

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 17:54:46

If you got in by the 20th of Feb, for a pittance, you can vote in the next looney tunes Labour leader elections, Lol!
Good times, eh?

GagaJo Sat 22-Feb-20 17:56:14

Kandinsky Sat 22-Feb-20 10:16:09
Banish them back to their filthy little lairs. No publicity, no air

It’s attitudes like this that caused brexit & the current climate we now find ourselves in.

Attitudes like what Kandinsky? Racist attitudes? If RACISM is what caused Brexit, you at least are being honest. Most pro Brexit posters try to pretend that they had higher reasons.

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 18:17:10

You seem so angry, feel sorry for you. Must play havoc with ones digestive system...

GagaJo Sat 22-Feb-20 18:19:27

Yes, racism gets me angry. As does homophobia, transphobia, ableist phobia.

Love it where it is at. Love thy neighbour. Not just the white, straight, cis, able bodies ones . EVERYONE.

GagaJo Sat 22-Feb-20 18:19:39

*able bodied.

ananimous Sat 22-Feb-20 18:24:25

That's funny coming from you grin
