Extracts from the various formats from the BBC link :-
'The Twitter image led to calls by some on the left for a boycott of the brand.
The company said it had been "pretty shocked" by the outcry, reminding people that Jeremy Corbyn had also posed with its products in 2017.'
'It's been pretty shocking to see the determination some have had to drag us into a political mudfight. But it's been lovely to see others speak up for us - we're so grateful to everyone who's done that in a civil way (and gutted to see some use it as a reason for more nastiness).'
' But for anyone about to vent their rage online, even to a company - please remember there's a human on the other end of it, and try to be kind.'

This has been spoken about in the press and TV and is possibly receiving a wider audience than some think.
IF and I repeat IF because I cannot find one piece of evidence to back up the accusation but IF those on the right of politics had called for Yorkshire Tea to be boycotted because Corbyn had his picture taken with the product I would think it was utterly moronic / ridiculous and call them idiots.
I think it is utterly moronic / ridiculous on the other hand to call for a boycott of Yorkshire Tea because Rishi Sunak had his picture taken with the product.
I think it is deemed a bit of sport, a fuss about nothing, it will be yesterday's chip paper but it will have damaged / targeted a respectable company and as they say :-
' please remember there's a human on the other end of it, and try to be kind.'
