After the War, like the Kaiser, he was never spoken to, or even mentioned by the RF for the rest of his life!

I understood that her father financially supported her during her school and university years. ( That awful toxic uncaring parent!) I don't think she had to do any actual work to support herself until the 'film career' made her a few bob!

George VI was grateful to Germany for not reporting on the abdication scandal. QM entertained Nazi, Duke of Coburg at Sandringham and BP. The King supported a political link with Hitler.
