Are you sure, Harry?

Not about your decision to cut and run from your country and family.
Not about bleating that you feel guilty about isolating in a multi-million pound mansion in LA during Lockdown.
Not about suggesting to frazzled parents that they should celebrate the moment, rolling around the floor in hysterics. confused

But....When you made that call asking for money generated by your wedding to be used for feeding children during the pandemic, are you really sure it was the Archbishop of Canterbury who picked up the phone?? grin

I find it tedious that newspapers are still reporting Harry's antics, not to mention the photographs. Does anyone in the U.K. care about Harry's 'philanthropy', distributing food parcels in Los Angeles? It is coincidental that repórters and photographers are always present when Harry and his wife engage in charitable ventures.

The camera man issue was raised before when it was alleged the picture under the umbrella was staged but actually it was possible to read an account from the photographer about how he got the picture, and how it was sheer luck, Still why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

Bridgeit Sat 18-Apr-20 16:54:26

Do they or the media post these photos?
One man’s loss is another man’s gain as the saying goes
And obviously in the age of gender equality this also applies to woman children , dogs & anything in between

Thank you for explaining about the Lab quizqueen , if only
recently taken ownership of it then fair enough, no reason for
an overweight Beagle though, active little dogs.

Chestnut we will continue to see them in the press because
it’s what they want, but only photographs they choose to release, they must have their own camera man.

quizqueen Sat 18-Apr-20 16:39:44

re dogs; I think the Lab was a newly acquired rescue dog before they left Canada, so, to be fair, they probably haven't been able to train it properly yet. It's not often I say something in their favour!

I wonder what happened to the 'elderly' dog (and I don't mean her dad!!!) that Meghan decided to leave behind in the USA when she married Harry; whether it has since died or she hasn't retrieved it- no sign of that one being walked.

Jabberwok Sat 18-Apr-20 16:20:31

That describes them perfectly Chestnut!

Chestnut Sat 18-Apr-20 16:01:58

I just wish H&M would get on with their lives without us having to see pictures of them walking their dogs and pretending to help the needy with deliveries. They have gone but are unfortunately not out of sight. They are like a wasp at a picnic.

coggie Sat 18-Apr-20 13:59:06

No, I want to argue about the dogs belonging to 2 people I have never met, will never meet and don't care about. One dog is a bit fat, the other is a bit naughty. Discuss.

cupaffull Sat 18-Apr-20 13:29:36

Please don't get drawn into arguments lovely people....don't give them headspace.
The pair simply aren't worth expending any time or energy on. RIP....

Gagagran Sat 18-Apr-20 11:53:30

I don't believe these are Harry and Meghan. I think they are the look alikes they have used before.

b1zzle Sat 18-Apr-20 11:51:30

Captain Mainwaring would have summed it all up: "Stupid boy!"

trisher Sat 18-Apr-20 11:50:01

Accounts of suicide attempts Annie these include how the family behaved. But I suppose if you are a supporter of the RF they can do no wrong. As I said an attempt to divert from an unsupportable hatefest which slagged off the families of severely disabled children calling them sycophantic. Really try bringing some measure of reality to the thread.

Anniebach Sat 18-Apr-20 11:46:27

Evidence of a dysfunctional family includes accounts of suicide attempts , at last, thank you trisher, for finally admitting this.

You are so wrong , but not alone, there are others ignorant of
reasons for attempts of suicide and suicide.

trisher Sat 18-Apr-20 11:39:11

Eglantine21 if you choose to take it as being about suicide it's up to you. I was asked why I used the word dysfunctional about the RF and gave evidence. Any further discussions are just an attempt to divert the thread from what was becoming a largely unsupportable position for the Harry haters.

Eglantine21 Sat 18-Apr-20 11:24:15

Or you could just say

“ I still think you speak unjustly of Harry and Meghan but I shouldn’t have said that about suicide.”

trisher Sat 18-Apr-20 11:19:39

Les Tricoteuse don't like fat dogs either A la lanterne.
If you don't know the suicide accounts then I suggest you google them. I don't know if they are true or not, I know what was alleged and I was asked for evidence that the family was dysfunctional. Up to you if you take it or leave it.

Anniebach Sat 18-Apr-20 11:01:15

Slagging off their dogs , saying a dog is too fat is slagging off
the dog ?

coggie Sat 18-Apr-20 10:54:59

I think slagging off their dogs has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Anniebach Sat 18-Apr-20 10:49:20

trisher you brought accounts of suicide attempts into your list of dysfunctional families, no matter if the alleged accounts are true, you brought suicide attempts into this.

You want to keep making excuses to keeping a disagreement
going. Why did you list ‘accounts of suicide attempts’ into this ? no fluffing around, just an honest reply , do you think
‘Accounts of suicide attempts’ belong to your list of
dysfunctional families?

Eglantine21 Sat 18-Apr-20 10:42:45

Sorry, but if you don’t have evidence and you don’t know if it is true, why even mention it? That doesn’t make any kind of sense at all.

You must have thought mentioning accounts of suicide had some relevance to your argument.

Otherwise you might just as well have said “Shaves twice on Thursdays” Something else unproven and irrelevant.

(I made that up)

trisher Sat 18-Apr-20 10:37:49

Mind I do find it fascinating that simply because I questioned their attitude towards Harry and the conversation he had with some parents Les Tricoteuse are now attacking me!

trisher Sat 18-Apr-20 10:33:50

No Annie it wasn't because I have no evidence and don't know if the suicide accounts were true. Which is why I take an objective view of anything that happens or anyone involved.
Oopsadaisy3 I believe they are funded now like most rich kids by Harry's dad. It's what rich families do.
If you can post any personal attacks that don't question what is posted and not the poster I will withdraw them. As for bullying the personal attacks on me speak for themselves. By the way most people know I never report posts.

Eglantine21 Sat 18-Apr-20 10:23:05

The most loving, supportive and united of families can have a member who suffers from mental illness. It’s not a result or a sign of a dysfunctional family.

It is an illness. Sometimes, thankfully, it’s something that is temporary, the result of a particular circumstance, sometimes it’s a lifelong illness that has to be borne with as much grace as the sufferer and the people who love them can muster.

Sometimes they can’t bear it.

Lucca Sat 18-Apr-20 10:21:44

Trisher. You should know by now that threads about H and M
Are forbidden to anyone who doesn’t slam them 100% and anyone who doesn’t is accused of being a fan (rather than just not fussed about them at all)
And before anyone starts on the “how come you’re reading the thread”. I read it all this morning as a distraction from the hideousness of covid19

Anniebach Sat 18-Apr-20 10:17:09

Accounts of suicide attempts. One sentence.
