Amazing, Gransnetters have apparently got no right to discuss H+M because they don’t know them, but Clawdy does have the right to be viciously rude about, wait for it, people she doesn’t know! You really couldn’t make it up.

Wouldn't it be nice if people could have a reasoned debate without being rude and insulting to other GN members whom they know nothing about. I wish people could be tolerant of the views of others and have a "live and let live" approach in these challenging times.

Indeed they can! People on here can express what political views they please, read what papers they choose without being subjected to personal abuse. If you only want a particular brand of political thinking then this may not be the right platform for you, if on the other hand you are tolerant of other opinions and can express your own in a balanced informed way, the conversation can be lively and interesting.
