Found this - I thought it was rather splendid.

Brilliant!

That sums him up nicely.

Started my day with a smile. Thank you.

I read that a while ago. Such a great piece of writing.

The Jabba the Hutt comment is priceless! grin

Blinko Sat 09-May-20 07:11:22

Yep, couldn't have put it more eloquently. Fabulous.

Thank you Lucky, great piece, which I will share.

‘... he’s the Shakespeare of sh*t ... ‘ is absolutely right ...

My goodness I couldn’t have said it better myself😄😄😄😄

It’s pretty much spot on, Trump himself is not the scary thing, the majority of the US voters actually like and support him!.

MaizieD Sat 09-May-20 07:59:06

The majority of the US voters didn't vote for him. Hillary had 3 million more votes than him.

I realise that's not quite what you've said, David. Are polls saying differently 4 years in?

Newquay Sat 09-May-20 08:10:17

Yes that’s what concerns me that he represents so many Americans

Furret Sat 09-May-20 08:17:44

Newquay very true.

Greta Sat 09-May-20 09:32:23

That a man like that could be voted in is almost unbelievable. But he was. I would, however, suggest that it's not only the British who dislike Donal Trump. Also, ”Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem". Again, they are not only British values. We share them with many other nations.

Davidhs Sat 09-May-20 11:47:07

Maizie if the Democrats had an inspiring candidate Trump could well loose the coming election, sadly once again they don’t. Continuing the anti China campaign should seal it for him.

Superb! Thanks for this, Luckygirl.
