Superb! Thanks for this, Luckygirl.

Maizie if the Democrats had an inspiring candidate Trump could well loose the coming election, sadly once again they don’t. Continuing the anti China campaign should seal it for him.

That a man like that could be voted in is almost unbelievable. But he was. I would, however, suggest that it's not only the British who dislike Donal Trump. Also, ”Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem". Again, they are not only British values. We share them with many other nations.

Newquay very true.

Yes that’s what concerns me that he represents so many Americans

MaizieD Sat 09-May-20 07:59:06

The majority of the US voters didn't vote for him. Hillary had 3 million more votes than him.

I realise that's not quite what you've said, David. Are polls saying differently 4 years in?

Davidhs Sat 09-May-20 07:51:22

It’s pretty much spot on, Trump himself is not the scary thing, the majority of the US voters actually like and support him!.

My goodness I couldn’t have said it better myself????

Thank you Lucky, great piece, which I will share.

‘... he’s the Shakespeare of sh*t ... ‘ is absolutely right ...

Yep, couldn't have put it more eloquently. Fabulous.

I read that a while ago. Such a great piece of writing.
