The police officer is in hospital ,critical but stable condition.The man who died was the perpetrator ,6 people are in hospital with injuries.There is NO information available about who the man was or why he behaved as he did .Its not believed to be terrorism ,according to someone I know who works on that street there are asylum seekers in the hotel and it appears an arguement got out of hand .
