There are lots of pro-Brexit members on GN.......the reason they have stopped posting on political threads is purely down to the vitriol they receive from pro-EU posters.

Ursula von der Leyen would be glad to see the back of the UK. It will be far easier for the EU to adjust to new market conditions than the UK.

Does it really not bother you that Johnson lied Urmstongran and is prepared to rip up an agreement his own government made? Do you not care about Northern Ireland? Do you not care that the UK's international reputation will be shot to pieces?

Well the EU said - nothing is agreed until everything is agreed - so lets agree nothing and keep OUR £31 BILLION and see how the EU balance their budget then.

From day one, way back in 2016 the Brexiteers were negotiating in “Bad Faith” it seems that has not changed and they are clutching at straws trying to avoid the humiliation of total failure of the Brexit project.Business is no different to Politics if the other side is negotiating in bad faith you walk away. It’s a matter of trust, I like to sleep at night so only get involved with those I trust, the EU is no different.

A Total No Deal will be very damaging, the EU is asking for equivalent standards for anything that gets exported to them. They don’t want us importing sub standard materials and re exporting to the EU, all of that is incorporated in the Withdrawl Agreement.

In my opinion our demands that the single market level playing field rules are changed for the U.K. simply are not achievable.

We have been crystal clear for decades what these rules are and that as members ourselves were never going to deviate from them in the interest of fair play.

Just who is now going to trust our Government with any trade deals? Our reputation is shot.

The EU cannot ditch the interests of the republic. They are still a member state of the European Union, Britain is not.

The only consolation I have this morning is that it wasn’t all of us who brought this down on our heads. Not sure how that is consolation, but it’s all I have this morning.

So no deal on our exports. Businesses must be incredibly worried, particularly farmers. WTO terms on meat means between 38-90% tariffs. No business will be able to sustain those sort of hits.

As Johnson calls "no deal" a "good outcome" and plans to unpick legal obligations regarding Northern Ireland, he confirms what people have been saying all along, which is that he doesn't want any deal with the EU.
