This is exactly why I am very sceptical when people say it is now OK to do X or Y because that is what the government says we can/should do. To have any faith in that you need to be able to assume:
- the government is acting in a responsible way.
- that we as the public are being kept in full possession of the facts on which to make risk assessments for us and for our families.

It is quite appalling that, faced with the worst public health crisis of our lifetimes, we have a dishonest government.

I agree Luckygirl. We have to make up our own minds about what we are willing to risk. Having virtually isolated myself for five months, I'm not about to become part of any second wave!
