Have any of you signed up to this group? It was started by a woman local to me and has now gone nationwide.

If you are someone willing and able to help people who are struggling to find money for meals or you are struggling to find money for meals yourself..worth checking it out.

They do react when there is a groundswell of public opinion and the media are happy to publicise the mounting signatures.

My daughter says these petitions won't be looked at by the government as they put out information that they will only consider the ones on the government website now.

If everyone who deplores the hypocrisy signs the petitions then at least we are making our voices heard.

Good morning Espee. You may wish to read the thread Free Meals, which has a fair number of posts about this.

A sign has been placed in the window stating: ‘David Morris MP is barred from entering this store for voting to starve children… ‘Along with 322 other Conservative MP’s he voted against extending free meals for kids. ‘He has been listed as one of the top ten MP’s claiming expenses with £77,676.00 spent so far. ‘He has also voted to give himself a pay rise of nearly £3400.00. Thatcher starved the miners. Morris starving the minors.’
