It annoys me when someone abstains whoever they are. They must know whether or not they agree on an issue and should vote accordingly.

They're paid to vote, not too abstain.

There was no chance at all of his losing. For one thing KS had given Labours support and then with all the MPs on the Government payroll ( usually over 100?) plus the majority of Tory MPs were not going to be turkeys were they? I see TM abstained and BJ incredibly rudely walked out as you began her contribution to the debate.

I watched the whole 'debate' and the majority who spoke were in favour.

I thought it looked as though it would go ahead but I may be wrong. I know a number of MPs are calling it a 'business breaker'.
