He reformed the VA, the veterans healthcare. Which is something past presidents failed to accomplish.

He also supported farmers impacted by his trade wars and historical floods.

The above actions grew his base substantially.

No major wars and he made friends with that idiot in North Korea. Probably they could see themselves in each other. We were on a cruise with a bunch of Trump supporters and they thought he had done a lot of good for employment. We kept our respective gobs shut.

Please can we look again at the OP and see if we can think of any good things Trump has achieved over the last 4 years?

NannyC2 - about UK birth certificates... when my children were born we took them to be registered. We gave the registrar all the required info which he wrote down in his book. It was a manual process.

I think one of us signed the book to say it was correct (but I may mis-remember this). I remember clearly that having shown the record to us to check, he (our local registrar was a man), copied onto what is commonly referred to as a "long-form" birth certificate.

This states it is a "certified copy"- which it is in that he copied it from the register of births onto the form for us to take away. He then certified that this was a true copy by signing and dating.

I do hope this helps. I know someone mentioned it earlier but I thought I'd lay it out in stages so you can see why it's called this..

I obviously only know that the certificates I have of my children's births do truly and accurately reflect their coming into this world. I cannot speak for yours.

We had Corporation buses in my home town. And very good they were, too...Sadly, Maggie T put an end to them.

Council estates were known as "Corporation schemes"

Callistemon Mon 01-Feb-21 22:40:36

The Corporation was the local Council and were also responsible for water distribution and sewage disposal until The Water Act 1973.

That is why a drink of water was known as Corporation Pop.

grannysyb my elderly aunts always referred to them as ‘the Corpy’!

grannysyb Mon 01-Feb-21 19:22:18

Hilarious! I knew an old lady years ago who always referred to our local council as "the corporation !"

Lucca Mon 01-Feb-21 19:08:23

Never mind independent.....

Blossoming Mon 01-Feb-21 19:05:27

NannyC2 doesn’t bother reading our replies or answering our questions so no discussion is possible. Wonder why? Is he/she just reciting a script and incapable of independent thinking?

Grannynannywanny Mon 01-Feb-21 18:55:31

Does NannyC2 have some inside knowledge that we should all be aware of???

It might be this.

tickingbird Mon 01-Feb-21 18:54:46

I know what NannyC2 is talking about. She thinks we’re entering an age of enlightenment and that the dark forces are going to be defeated. It’s all part of the great reset. Trump will return and we need to wake up. NannyC2 probably follows Simon Parkes, Charlie Ward and several others.

varian Mon 01-Feb-21 18:38:54

As far as I can remember *NannyC2" told us at the beginning of the year that something momentous was about to happen,

Did she mean the attempted insurrection on 6th January?

Does NannyC2 have some inside knowledge that we should all be aware of???

Lucca Mon 01-Feb-21 18:36:11

Sorry Maizie crossed posts

Lucca Mon 01-Feb-21 18:35:27

What is this “ corporation “ for goodness sake.??

MaizieD Mon 01-Feb-21 18:34:21

Good to know the 'Corporation' is still okay - someone told me that both the UK and US had gone bankrupt last year!

Puzzled as to what the 'Corporation' is, but I can assure you that neither the UK nor the US can possibly go bankrupt because they both issue their own money.

I suggest you should be less trusting of what 'someone' tells you and check for yourself...

varian Mon 01-Feb-21 18:21:42

NannyC2 what on earth have British birth certificates got do do with your support of Trump?

NellG Mon 01-Feb-21 17:51:19

NannyC2 - Everyone's birth certificate is a certified copy - a copy of the entry made in the register when your parents go to the registrar and log your birth. The only 'original copy' is the register itself.

NannyC2 Mon 01-Feb-21 17:46:51

Yes, I too thought I had my original certificate as it is certainly the one kept safe for me by my parents. I also now have my parents and grandparents 'originals' ....... but look again, and I have checked with others......it actually says 'certified copy!' Does yours actually say 'original' or 'certified copy?'

Good to know the 'Corporation' is still okay - someone told me that both the UK and US had gone bankrupt last year!
Glad to know I bring a little light into your lives

The conspiracy theory is that anyone with Rh-neg blood is an alien! smile

Galaxy Mon 01-Feb-21 17:18:30

You have blown my cover Callistemon shock

Callistemon Mon 01-Feb-21 17:14:18

Perhaps we've all got fake birth certificates, Galaxy, perhaps we were all transported here from a planet circling a dying star and at a given moment, we will rise to fight the good fight.
Certainly, with a name like yours, it's a distinct possibility!!
?

Galaxy Mon 01-Feb-21 17:08:02

I would be in quite a lot of trouble without my birth certificate, I need it for dbs checks. Perhaps it's a fake one. If so it has fooled years and years of organisations checking my ID. I should become a spy.

Callistemon Mon 01-Feb-21 15:08:00

NannyC2 either your parents lost your birth certificate or you were adopted and, if you have the correct details, you can order your original birth certificate from the GRO.
Be sure you want to do this before you embark on the journey.
Good luck.
