They just don’t want us to see their home decor, simple?

Actually, I think it is a good thing to show pride in the Uk. I'll hide behind the sofa now.

And, I thought Naga and Charlie were very sneery to Robert Jenrick!

People are now hiring different backgrounds for their zoom tv appearances! You can be who you always wanted to be.

Americans were displaying their flag outside and inside many many years before Donald Trump became POTUS.

It is not a new thing for politicians worldwide to have their national flag behind them when making a speech.

Do you really believe that they always had union jacks in their living rooms, or studies or cupboards or wherever they zoom from? It looks like they are under instruction to fly flags when zooming.

Some also have portraits of the queen and I can just about believe they had them anyway but the flags indoors look positively Trumpian.

I think the last three posts say it all. I would like to ask why is it daft?

It’s very common in America to have the Stars & Stripes on display in or around your house.

My Norwegian friends both decorated their Christmas trees with their national flag.

If it’s their living room they are entitled to do whatever they like without being judged and found guilty.

In Spain its de rigour to have the Spanish flag in your home and I was informed that my ??????? couldn’t be bigger than ??! Seems size does matter after all......?

It does look as if the Tory Party are trying to misuse the union jack in the same way that the SNP misuse the saltire.

These national flags belong to all of us, not to any political party.

Don't think so, just daft.

Does the display of union jacks by politicians making video calls from their homes not just appear ridiculous, but a tad sinister?
