Wills and Harry rift blown out of proportion

I've thought all along that the so-called "feud" between the brothers has been exaggerated by the media. Brothers fall out as anyone with sons will tell you. Usually they make it up and everything is forgotten, but with Harry leaving the country and the press delighting in nasty gossip, a small disagreement has grown into all out war.
At least one reporter thinks as I do.

I see. Thanks.
Off to walk a dog on the beach, it's a "perfect" day.

You cant have three way discussions either. It's an open forum. You cant limit the numbers. So if I am talking to you now and someone offers their view on our conversation, that's just the nature of being on a thread on the internet.

Ellianne Sat 24-Apr-21 08:32:35

Discussions?

Galaxy Sat 24-Apr-21 08:31:19

You are on a thread on the internet. You cant really have three way conversations grin

Anniebach

I was replying to Lucca describing posters who said it was a nice photograph as claiming they were excited

That was my understanding Annie .... me, then Lucca, then you. A three way conversation. The rest is beyond me.

Galaxy Sat 24-Apr-21 08:18:37

Yes because of the comments that were made about Theresa May about children.

Alegrias1 Sat 24-Apr-21 08:16:34

Yes

Ellianne Sat 24-Apr-21 08:12:56

Galaxy

That was explained upthread.

What? Because Annie said, "A mother / grandmother thing" The ex PM sprang to mind? Really?

Lucca Sat 24-Apr-21 08:09:21

Ellianne

I don't think the "bitter" comment (made to me) had anything to do with the photo, it was because my day appeared "perfect" with exciting things? I did think it out of character for Lucca who is usually reasonable and interesting.
I have no idea how the Theresa May and Andrea L comment even crossed the next poster's mind.

It was not bitter !! Maybe congratulations was the wrong word .......”enjoy” might have been better. However it is all irrelevant.

Hey leave me out of it thank you. I’ve already explained many times what I meant.

Anniebach Sat 24-Apr-21 07:46:33

If this must continue let’s have the truth yes ? My post about a mother / grandmother was in reply to this post -

Lucca
I don’t get your interest ! But congratulations on your perfect day.
I’m wondering why your post comes across as bitter, Lucca.

It’s a lovely photo
Not bitter at all, why do you think that ? I am not bitching at anyone I’m just saying I personally don’t understand the excitement!

Ellianne Sat 24-Apr-21 07:44:06

In the days when they were in perfect unison.
Watch out, here's another photo! Alert!

Who are Derek and Les? ..........what have they to do with this thread? never heard those names alongside William and Harry

There is now a whole thread about them .

Ellianne Sat 24-Apr-21 07:40:19

Just checked, a member of a boyband, a little bit before William and Harry's time. The brothers were probably more into Stereophonics I'm guessing or Take That. I can't remember who they chose to play at Diana's concert??

Ellianne Sat 24-Apr-21 07:33:03

lemsip I think they are people who died, that's why I said "morbid".

“ Of course, if others choose to do so, that’s up to them.”. It is indeed.

Am I alone in thinking the only ones who can give a definitive opinion are indeed William and Harry, and even they are not guaranteed to see things identically?

Eh up Rosie51, don’t be bringing a bit of sense into any discussion about William and Harry. Steady On, or you’ll be suggesting a bit of sympathy for both these brothers may be the best approach.

Calendargirl Sat 24-Apr-21 07:13:52

Lots of fuss over the photo of Louis on here.

No wish to start another argument, but it seems to me that if a topic is raised that you are not interested in, no need to make a comment, just pass it by.

Looking at the Active posts, there are lots that I am not remotely interested in, so I don’t bother to write anything.

Of course, if others choose to do so, that’s up to them.

Lucca Sat 24-Apr-21 06:15:59

Rosie they are certainly the only ones who know their own thoughts, you are absolutely right!

Goodness me, so many misunderstandings....

Ellianne posted a nice picture of a "bonnie bairn". That's what I said at about lunchtime.

Anniebach decided to get defensive about something or other and said it was only natural to think the child was cute. That this was a mother/grandmother thing.

Thinking the child is cute is not a mother/grandmother thing. I am neither (child free by choice, in fact) but I think the child is cute. So, by associating the ability to appreciate a cute child with motherhood, my opinions are marginalised and made less important. You don't have to be a parent to think the child is cute, my cuteness detector works just fine.

By highlighting this apparently it is me who is the "bad guy" because I'm too sensitive and apparently want to put an end to...well, actually, I don't know what...

I think Casdon got it in her 4pm post.

Post as many pictures of cute children as you like. Ellianne, Lucca, there was no criticism of you.

Now I sound like a mad woman so I'm off to my bed. Night night.
