That’s a lie.
I was watching Simon McCoy this afternoon and following the comments to his programme on the app.

The metro headlines.

“Simon McCoy hits back as his GBNews programme hits zero viewers”

If people were to watch it I think they might be surprised that they rubbish this government more than any main stream news outlet.

Well Simon McCoy was very much broadcasting on GBNews last evening. Can't find any info of him resigning - except from the BBC. If he's gone it's a big shame as his show is really entertaining.

I think the real explanation is that the actual viewers were so low as not to register.

Well that can't be right (zero viewing) as I have watched it every day since the launch. I don't agree with everything said, but I find it a breathe of fresh air after BBC and Sky News. Just listened to an interview about the Bank of England and quantative easing - very interesting and kept at the right level so I could understand.

They reported zero viewing figures for two days in a row at 5 pm.

Simon McCoy has given up the ghost snd resigned. Neil is broadcasting ( ironically ) from France.

Acting upon requests for a regular top news bulletin, they've listened and now have one "at the top of each hour".

Just read that the last figures are 28,000 between 6pm and 10. The numbers are down after an incident with a presenter 'taking the knee'. I expected their numbers to go down after the first week. I wish they could have a news bulletin at a specific time.
It could have a refreshingly different tone from the BBC.

It’s absolutely hilarious that the channel that made a big deal of “respecting everyone’s free speech and opinions” flat out boycotted the first presenter who ruffled a few feathers.
