Boris and Carrie are having another baby.
I bet that's made everyone's day. smile

I think Boris is charismatic and I have read various accounts from women who while seated next to him at a function, said he had a knack of making them feel like the most fascinating woman in the room, such was his interest in what they were saying.

I thought that was Clinton; another difficult dog to keep on the porch, to use an Arkansas turn of phrase

Short and Turley, eh? smile

Anniebach Mon 02-Aug-21 08:04:00

Why is it assumed Boris is sex mad because he has been married three times , had an affair and has a 7th child on way,

Corbyn , three wives, and Diane Abbott, he has 3 sons,

Tony Benn , one wife, 5 children

Why would Johnson mention that to complete strangers? Now, I chat away to fellow dog walkers all the time but I wouldn’t bring my dogs sexual habits into the conversation. What a strange man he is.

Dylin has been castrated to stop his uncontrollable amorous urges.

Goose and ganders?

Galaxy Sun 01-Aug-21 22:36:38

Gwyneth Sun 01-Aug-21 22:33:20

Are you a short and curly?

No! The name Curlywhirly has nothing to do with curly hair (mine is straight) it rhymes with part of my name; however, I am short! Hence the (faux) outrage at Jane's inference that short people are inferior! ?

varian Sun 01-Aug-21 18:43:35

So what do we need our governenment to do to show a lead?

JaneJudge Sun 01-Aug-21 18:40:48

no sad

varian Sun 01-Aug-21 18:38:30

Is that good news???

JaneJudge Sun 01-Aug-21 18:36:24

because he'll have another A4 page full in September, we need to hazard a guess what they will be.. confused

varian Sun 01-Aug-21 18:34:55

Why ????

JaneJudge Sun 01-Aug-21 18:34:20

sorry blush I just like using his catchphrases grin

varian Sun 01-Aug-21 18:34:19

Sorry. Another Johnson child ( is that number eight, nine or ten or does BJ even have a clue?) is not a cause for celebration.

FannyCornforth Sun 01-Aug-21 18:31:48

I guess it’s the thought of all that hurrumphing and bodily fluid exchanges with Boris Johnson that turns the stomach.
.

I suspect he jabs whilst she jabbers

25Avalon Sun 01-Aug-21 18:29:04

A few year’s back Dh went to a business dinner do where Boris was the invited speaker. He didn’t come over as a bumbling idiot but as a clever charismatic speaker. Dh isn’t easily impressed either.

MissAdventure Sun 01-Aug-21 18:21:59

I think I would find him quite appealing, actually.
Although I've heard that it's all a cleverly constructed persona in his case, I enjoy meeting eccentrics.

Johnson may be good fun at a dinner party but that doesn’t mean you’d want him to drive you home.

I wouldn’t want him to sit next to me on a bus

I do understand that some people want to have large families and that is their right. But I made a decision to only have two children because I was worried about world over population.

Indeed. This is not a criticism - I'm not child-free myself and I don't deny anyone's right to have the family they want - but there was an interesting study from Lund that showed that (at least in terms of carbon footprint) having a child was one of the most damaging things you could do.

Cars were the second worst, but roughly one child == 20 cars in terms of carbon footprint.

Of course the other side of the coin is that we're all stuck in this economic Ponzi scheme of eternal growth otherwise we can't pay off our debts.

BlueSky Sun 01-Aug-21 16:10:13

Exactly Calendar! Luckily we don’t all like the same people/things or we would be fighting over them!

Lillie Sun 01-Aug-21 16:02:16

congratulations to them
a playmate for the little lad
