New baby joy

Mr & Mrs Johnson are expecting their second child later this year after it has been revealed that Mrs.Johnson miscarried at the beginning of 2021.

Politics aside, I wish them well with this pregnancy, a miscarriage is devastating for all concerned, and no doubt they will be worried throughout the coming weeks/months.

Three threads about the same thing ??‍♀️

It is good news thank you.

Yes, I wish them well too, two babies born while in Downing St
Is this a record? I know that Cherie Blair had her last baby there.

Oh, I hadn't heard, that is good news.
I think you may be right, lemongrove, about it being a record.
I wish them well.

Why ??

I’m not being rude but how much can one actually say about it?

PippaZ Sat 31-Jul-21 18:03:42

Yuck. Do we really need to know about this? It's not as if there isn't anything else to think about.

I wonder how his other poor kids feel?

MaizieD Sat 31-Jul-21 18:16:18

I can't see what is good news about it. Another child for a dysfunctional father who will no doubt expect the state to support it (and has no idea how many children he already has).
Drop him down a few social classes and you'd all be hissing your disapproval.

A new little life in the world is always welcome in my book.No matter who the parents are.Having a baby is a joyous thing.

I agree lemongrove a baby after a miscarriage is a gift.

Unfortunately people are unable to put their political bias aside.

Boris must be very virile! Seems a bit soon after their first boy, even sooner if Carrie miscarried in January. Still I suppose they can afford them, so good luck!

Is there a set time frame to get pregnant again after a loss that I don’t know about?

Not really. Wilfrid was born in April 2020, so if this baby is due at Christmas, he will be 20 months old.
Expect Carrie wants them to be close together.

I, too, agree with you both.
